Natural Instincts Semi-Permanent No Ammonia Hair Dye, 5 Medium Brown

Really easy to apply. The instructions are very easy to use either for first time use or simply touching up. Comes with gloves, colour and a conditioner. It smells great and the coverage is great.

This is an excellent hair dye I have very sensitive skin and I can't use too strong dyes the more natural the better this dye goes on well I have shoulder length fine hair and this box was enough to provide full coverage. I did the 48 hour test before use and was happy no reaction occured my hair was left in good condition not dried out at all colour is really nice and has left a multi tone effect when the gray hair is it full covered the gray hair too.

This is the medium brown 5. I have long hair and only needed 2 boxes as consistency was relatively watery and easy to cover hair, Really shiny and glossy however definitely darker than a 5. This colour is a 4 or a 3 and even soon fading I would say is darker than a 5 unless in direct sunlight. Slightly warm undertone

I use this all the time not harsh and easy to apply and looks great.

Medium brown 5 colour Bought this to sort out a bad highlights at a hairdresser I went to get my greys covered I didn’t want highlights and lo and behold I some how got some! And they didn’t look very good in my opinion. So I got this dye to try to see if it would sort it out and make me feel less stripy and it seems to have done a good job in my opinion. It’s definitely made the highlights less obvious so I am happy! I’m not sure how long it will last for I can try edit to see how it goes. Im not sure if it’s covered any greys as I had got them touched up at the hair dresser before.

Tried this box dye as have a fair few grey hairs after research of grey blending i leanred a demi permanant hair dye is the answer as it doesnt cover the greys completely more blends the greys. Have used it today and although my greys are still visible they are not as white! This will be my go to hair dye for blending in my greys i opted for this dye as permanent box dye will cause the harsh outgrow line which am starting to avoid now a bought a shade 5 but im natutally a 4 base and it feels dark enough i could have gone down to the 4 but have learnt from past disasters they turn black! Overall im pleased with this box dye and will be repurchasing in future!!

I used medium brown colour on my light/medium brown virgin hair. I wanted nice neutral brown tone, just to breathe a little life into my hair. Sadly it came out with a warm orange undertone which I really hate. I've been washing my hair with dandruff shampoo since to fade it out as fast as possible. I'm really disappointed with this product. I have used other brand semi permanent box dyes before and it always turned out great. I would not recommend this brand.
