Sachs 4200 080 050 Grease

Use this on my Fliteboard eFoil to keep the gearbox and seals properly lubricated. This is as close to want the shop uses, and in fact they recommended it for my home use. Keeps everything running beautifully.

Greased my splines and throw out bearing sparingly on my 08 cobalt ss turbo & my 16 challenger rt. Great stuff and I’ve used it on other metal on metal contact items where grease is needed. Will hold up to the heat and no sling. You can watch Sachs test videos on clutch installs on YouTube where it shows it doesn’t sling grease.

Use this when replacing the clutch in a 2004 Jeep Wrangler.

This is stuff you want to grease the splines of the transmission input shaft and clutch disc. It's a super sticky grease that will not fling off and contaminate the friction surface. A lot of DIYers and even 'pro' shops still use plain grease - which is why your clutch pedal feels ultra smooth when you first drive it, and then stiffer as time goes on. That's because standard grease flings off and eventually disappears, leaving a crusty film on the splines. This will help keep the clutch pedal feeling smooth for a long time, and it allows the disc to float properly for less collateral wear. The tube size is way overkill if you only intend to do a single clutch job, or even 2 or 3. You can get a smaller package size, but at this price it's pretty cheap anyway.

Warum kann man nicht jedes Fett für die Kupplung nehmen? Ganz einfach, normales Fett würde aufgrund der schnellen Drehbewegung (Zentrifugalkraft) nach außen gepresst werden und die Kupplung beschädigen oder sogar zerstören! Dieses spezielle Fett macht das nicht, wird für alle Kupplungen verwendet egal ob Sachs, Luk, etc. Wichtig ☝️ Viel hilft nicht viel hier!!! Nur eine sehr kleine Menge (max Erbsengröße eher etwas weniger) verwenden!! Zuletzt noch, wofür braucht man das Fett? Es minimiert den Verschleiß der Kupplung. Wenn man auf die Kupplung (das Pedal im Innenraum) tritt muss die Kupplung trennen, dazu muss sie etwas auf der Welle rutschen können. Kann sie das nicht, schleift sie mehr als es sein muss und geht schneller kaputt. Daher immer das richtige Mittel verwenden. Ich hoffe das hilft dir weiter Gruß, Andreas PS: wenn man das Getriebe drin hat muss man bei getretener Kupplung am Ausgang, Welle oder Rad drehen können! Geht das nicht, dann stimmt es nicht.

Nice handy tube of grease that i keep in the car. Its hi quality grease that sticks very well to metal for greasing up your clutch parts like splines and the throwout bearing. Used it on my manual 6-speed Jeep JK Wrangler and holds now for 3000 km. Tested with hi temperatures and towing for 3000km. No rattle for my clutch anymore!
