Durafast™ Elite Solid Jammer Black 34

Really quality training suit. Bought to get back into lap swimming for fitness. Very happy with the quality and durability. This is a training suit and I wouldn’t qualify as a “Race” suit. It’s double fabric, and I especially like the V-panel front, better than a stitch running right down the middle. I’m 6’1” 190 lbs and got the size 34, same waist size I buy in jeans and fit was spot on. Length is long, goes all the way to my knees, but I don’t mind it. Would definitely recommend if you need a quality suit that will last.

These jammers hold up incredibly well. Exactly what I expected.

These fit true to size. I normally wear men's 34 waist pants (I can fit into 33 in the summer when I am more active) and these in size 34 were a perfect fit, almost skin tight but stretchy enough to allow free movement. They are very low drag and tend to dry quickly. They are a bit tight at the knees but mainly to reduce drag. My thighs measure about 17.125 inches in circumference at the ends of the Jammers, and they are still comfortable but tighter than the non-Elite Solid Jammer. The black color did not seem to fade with the first few swims in an indoor chlorinated pool. The difference between the Durafast Elite and the non-Elite is that the Elite is mainly Polyester with some Spandex. The non-Elite is made completely of Polyester. In terms of comfort and fit, I can't really tell a big difference. Both Durafast lines are advertised as being designed for chlorinated pools. Overall: 5/5 stars, great price, durable construction, near perfect fit

I'm a novice triathlete just starting to get into regular lap swimming at an indoor pool. A jammer is so much more comfortable and easy to swim in than a regular bathing suit. My first jammer was just the regular Speedo model. After about 20 swims totaling maybe 15 hours it started to get real fuzzy and discolored in certain spots. This was after following all wash and care instructions properly. I figured there had to be a better and more durable option. A lot of research led me to this jammer by TYR. Immediately upon opening the package you can tell the material is different. It's thicker (but not too thick) and has a softer feel than the thin Speedo jammer. It fit exactly true to size around the waist, but is a little tight at the leg closure towards my knees. The drawstring is small and almost not needed because the suit fits perfectly. I've only worn this for 2 swims, but already I can tell it's going to last longer than the Speedo.

Swimming 3 times a week. Coming for the Speedo Endurance+ which I've had for several years, the new version (Speedo) I got felt different and of lesser quality then before, I might of got a faulty model. Replaced by the TYR Durafast material is better in every way, better stitching, thicker and more durable. it does takes longer to dry though. I would purchase again when it will wear out.

I've been a loyal Tyr Durafast user for a few years, and decided to try the Elite when they went on sale for less than the standard Durafast. The fit was exactly the same for me as the regular Durafast: a perfect 34 for a medium-framed guy who wears 34 pants. The big difference is the full dual-layer construction on the Elite vs a crotch liner on the standard. The Elite seem to have a little bit more compression and take quite a bit longer to dry, as you'd expect. They may last just a bit longer than the standard, but the jury is still out on that. I usually get 7-8 months use at 6-8 hrs per week out of a standard Durafast suit before I start get some seam stitch breakage, and I'm at about 6 months with the Elite and the stitching has faded like usual, but is still in great shape. Overall, I personally prefer the standard Durafast because the crotch liner works better for me fit-wise (holds everything in place better) and I prefer the quicker drying time and lighter feel of a single layer suit. Still a great, durable suit that I'm sure will appeal more to some people.

The size was too small for a mature swimmer.

I recently started swimming again and decided I needed a new suit to do so, as my 2-size-too-large swim trunks weren't cutting it for laps. I bought these TYR Durafast Elite Solid Jammers because they had better reviews than the Speedo jammers I used to use, and so far they've been doing great. They feel like they're made of more solid material than the Speedos, so I hope they last longer as well. My Speedo jammers used to degrade to the point where they were basically completely loose, but these feel tight and very comfortable. I will update my review down the line depending on how long they last. I wear pants that are somewhere between men's size 33 and 34. I bought a size 34, and they fit perfectly. My thighs are a bit on the larger side from biking, but these fit perfectly nonetheless. The length is good, reaching just above the knee, and the waistline is almost perfect. If I were lazy I could probably get away with swimming without tying the waistband, but it's always good to be safe.

Nice fit costume. Good for practice sessions. Very comfortable.

Great material, very sturdy stitching. I am hoping to use it for a long time. My waist is 36 and i bought size 34 and it fit me perfectly. Material is thick but also heavy compared to a speedo if those little extra gms bother you.. Bit too pricy but i give 5 stars.

Preis Leistung top, Passform sehr gut.

These are good quality and although I expected these to be snug and compressive they rode far too low at the waist for their size. I would strongly recommend sizing up, it's unfortunate these are built this way as they would be perfect otherwise.

Very vague product.. Please never buy it.
