I like the strong light, yet in keeping with a "lantern" look. Flickering "candle" is perfect and believable. The entire lantern is beautiful. This lantern stays on until dawn, unlike my other lanterns that were our by 2am. The battery is easily accessible for infrequent replacing. Over many years, I've owned maybe a dozen. This one is the best I've bought!

I wanted these lanterns for ambiance on a building in the backyard. They are perfect for that. They are not bright, if that's what you're looking for, but they are perfect for what you I was after. Love the fact that they are waterproof as well. Very classy looking, too.

This lantern is lightweight and plastic, but it is made well to withstand the elements. Have purchased lanterns in the past that were marketed for outdoor use, but none held up as well as I hoped. Have high hopes for this one, however!Beautiful glow!

Have only had for 1 day. Lantern is pretty - not sure if it will maintain light as expected.

I purchased this solar powered lantern to place on the grave of my recently deceased son. The first one I ordered did not seem to function well (I tested its performance at home first and after a few day-night cycles it seemed to lose the ability to sustain a charge). Returned it and ordered another (I liked every thing else about it). When the same problem recurred, I examined the rechargeable AA battery that came with the unit and saw it only had a 600mAhr rating, enough for a few hours of light between recharges (typical patio party use)--but not for repeated dusk to dawn cycles as I wanted. I replaced the battery with a rechargeable 2000mAHr rated battery (typically $1.50-$2.00 each in 4 packs) and the lantern has functioned as desired since then.

Came in ready to go. Stay on a lot longer than advertised. Very Happy with them.

A little too expensive for the quality.

Quite a interesting lamp suitable for decorating your lawn.However it isn't bright enough so it's not meant to keep a place illuminated. More of a deco.The rechargeable battery that came with my set didn't function properly after a week.Had to go purchase new rechargeable batteries from the hardware store and replace.

They arrive broken very disappointed and lost of moneyEvery time i buy on eBay is always disappointing
