Tango

This is great, high-energy music. Julio is more energetic and seemingly liking this music more than any other music I have heard him sing. He is having fun with it. I put this on when I need to clean the house or just if it is a gloomy day and I need a pick-me-up.

In my next life, I'm going to marry Julio. Then he can sing to me every day. This CD is fabulous just like all his other CD 's. I can't understand a word he's singing because I do not speak Spanish nor French, but I can sing every one of his songs! 😊

This is my favorite CD of all time. Julio does a masterful rendition of the old classics. He brought a melodic smooth sound to the scratchy, static of the 1920s. His version of the classic tangos has made me appreciate why my parents love them so much. The words are intense and Julio's voice is a perfect match.

I have been a fan but have only listened to Julio's songs in English. If you have not heard Julio sing in Spanish - you've missed a lot. When I listen to this album, I could even visualize the Tango dancers! Mucha gustas.

Tango afficianado know the point of the tango is seduction and submission wrapped in vibrant melodies; Inglesias's soothing voice tempers but does not sublimate the sensuality.
