This is the second time I've bought this item. The first one lasted about 3 years, which is a pretty good lifespan. I'm amazed that an item this useful is not available from Walmart, Target, Best Buy, etc. Thank you, Amazon, for having what I need. As for the review, the cable is strong, and as previously noted, my first one lasted about 3 years. The braided cords help avoid cracking or breaking, and the various heads are clearly marked for what type of connection they are (USB-C, Micro USB, Apple, etc.), have their own color-coded cable, and even have an LED light to let you know they are on and receiving power. I frequently charge my cell phone and tablet simultaneously, and even when both batteries are nearly dead, it doesn't take too long before both items have at least 50-60% charge. I get the same results in my car as I do at home. The 4' length is ideal, not too short or too long. All in all, an excellent and highly useful product. I highly recommend this charging cable. P.S. If you're a ride-share driver, order an extra one and score points and extra tips with your riders. Lots of riders ask to charge their phones when on a ride. Don't forget to get a high capacity/fast charging USB car charger to go with it.

I’ve been using this cord on smart usb hub that reads amperage off each usb port. Each time I plugged in an extra device using one cord the amps went up accordingly. I’ve had 4 items plugged in all at once before, a phone, some air pods, a battery pack, and a large speaker. They all charge full with no issue. I don’t do this often though since I don’t want to risk overcharging the devices. Yes it is CAPABLE of quick charging. The cord itself isn’t a quick charging, cords aren’t quick chargers. If you plug something in to a laptop, it will charge slower than if you plug it in to a wall. Check the amperage on the brick you are using. A 1.0 amp will charge slower than a 2.0 amp I think the hub in my car charges at 2.4 amps quick charge and charges my phone from 10 to 60% in 15-20 mins. Also, quick charging means high power input very quickly, thus the heat. My phone gets very hot when using quick charge. Not burning to the touch but a nice hand warmer in the winter. The same thing happens with my $40 Apple charger at home so it’s not surprising a $15 charger will do the same when quick charging. I’ve bought a total of 3 of these. I plan to buy more should I get more devices. I buy these for the convenience of having different plugs I hated having to switch cords from bricks when charging so I switched to this and it worked out perfect. 2 Year use update: of the three pairs I own, one single strand has turned off, the iPhone port on one but either way it has another. It failed after six months or so of use. I’ve had many chargers fail on me after less than a year so it wasn’t unexpected and I have six total so it’s no burden to me. My five star review still stands as these cords are great and I’ve considered setting up a little charging station with these in my living room since my family is always fighting over chargers. I’ve charged all kinds of devices with this cord and it does not disappoint. I already have a charging station in a room so when I have company over they just plug in any devices they brought and they don’t worry about forgetting their charger or me not having the right cord.

Guys, it’s 07/2026 and I bought this in 03/2023. I’m finally leaving a product review. As an Amazon Delivery Driver, I bought these cables. These cables have gone through a LOT through this time, and are STILL kicking. They both are still great. Buy this.

I ordered two of these to replace similar ones I’ve been using for many years. One works perfectly, but one has stopped working on one of the lightning wires. That said, I love that you can charge multiple different items at the same time.

My wife and I use this cable constantly. She brought one to work and co-workers wanted to use it. It's not a fast charger but if you just want to charge your iPhone, iPad, Kindle, and a USB-C device at the same time...it will do it. We often use it to charge an iPad and iPhone at the same time. Mostly though, it's great for just charging a device that doesn't have wireless charging overnight. I often use it to charge my iPads when I sleep. The color coding is helpful so you don't keep trying to plug in the wrong cable in low light.

Great design, great quality, HUGE HUGE FAIL SLOW CHARGING!! This cable was made in January 2021 and is not a fast charge cable tested on QI Smart charge blocks with other cables that are fast charge this is the slowest one it's 2A and I question that. My phone was at 75% Full and said it would take 1, hour 54 minutes to fill it. It takes 4 hours + to charge a full phone these are for overnight charging and that's it. It's so slow two devices asked to check if they were even plugged in as a warning prompt. I have purchased 4 of them and they're all going in the bin as I can not be stuffed returning them. Waste of money is my opinion if you are after a fast charge this is not for you and you will be very disappointed.

I've used various other charging cables in the past but this is the first time I'm seeing a charging alert (see image) on my Samsung Note 10+ using this cable. My battery is at about 40% and with this cable it would take 8hrs (!) to get to a full charge. With the Samsung provided cable, it is less than 1 hr. I then installed an app to monitor charging current and the charging current with this cable is less than 100mA (see image) a far cry from the stated 2A "fast charging". Both cables had the same unacceptable performance. Very disappointed with the product.
