Excellent quick charger
This Charger is indeed very small and light. Perfect for travelling as it has a really small footprint. Not that we can really go any where very far in the current Cronoavirus situation. However, I did do a bit of travelling within the EU and the US prior to the lockdown and it has worked perfectly. This is the second Sumvision charger I have bought from them now as the first one is always being “borrowed” by my kid. Being the precocious age of 12, he is quite careless / clumsy with his stuff, so it’s a testament to the Sunvision build quality that it has survived his ownership. It also seems to have very low heat output even when I have all 3 ports in maximum use so that is another reassuring factor. It does have all the usual CE, FCC and RoHS cert stamped on the bottom of the device and it seems to be a UK company as they have a free UK based helpline and I was able to speak to somebody with a normal English accent. I was interested in their “Smart Adaptative Charge Control” thingy and how to turn this on. Apparently, every time you plug a new device in, the charger will detect the appropriate voltage and amperage of the device automatically. There is no need for the user to do anything. I do like this feature as its better than a lot of dumb charger that can send too little or too much voltage to charge your device. I understand too high a voltage will actually shorten battery life. And obviously too low a voltage will just take forever to charge. USB Type C is the future for most new devices nowadays but I like the fact that this still support all the older devices. The Quick Charge 3.0 is backwards compatible anyway so I find this charge my old phone equally as fast as the original manufacturer charger. And of course for the newer stuff like my ipad pro – this charger is perfectly fast and adequate. So overall, this has been a exceptionally reliable charger (Survived my son dropping it and the dog trying to chew it with just a slight dent as the battle scar It has changed quickly pretty much every electronic devices I have tried with it.

A Quick Explanation of the confusion with the USB Type A Type C Standards
I am an IT technician by trade and I think there is a lot of confusion about the new type C standard right now. I find a lot of my friends and less techy colleagues are having trouble buying chargers yet finding they don’t work with their Type C devices. USB Type C denotes the new 24pin reversible orientation plug and socket. However, there is a lot of sub standards within this category and I think a lot of consumers just assume that since the socket fit, it should work with all type c standard devices. There are several reasons this is not the case: 1. The actual type C port needs to provide enough juice. Some manufacturers love to total up all the ports of their charger, including even USB type A ports to arrive at a higher headline wattage figure. This is why sometimes you buy a 65W charger, yet it cannot charge a 65W laptop. This Sumvision 65W output refers just to the Type C port with no trickery. And it also has some astonishing headroom – I have tested the 87W 15” macbook pro on this thing and it still works! 2. There is a further sub standard within the Type C specification for handling higher power and data throughput called Power Delivery (Usually just called PD). Not all type C charger will have this higher spec. Without PD, some chargers will either not work on devices that requires it or at least charge a lot lot slower. This Sumvision charger has PD and it’s the latest version. 3. Type C is a very exacting standard so devices expect tight tolerances. When you buy chargers with poor quality capacitors and resistors, the wide fluctuations can cause further problems. I think this is why there are reports of cables and chargers bricking Nintendo Switches. It’s not that the Switch is poorly made, it’s just that the manufacturer expected a type c standard charger or cable will deliver the correct voltage and clean power without wide fluctuations. I can attest this Sumvision can definitely charge the Switch at the correct voltage and speed. This Sumvision Charger is my go-to recommendation for friends and colleagues. Not only is the manufacturer being truthful with the power output, it is actually understating it with some massive amount of headroom and margin of safety which is very comforting. The inclusion of two Type A ports with backwards compatible Quick Charge technology ensures it will work with all older devices while future proofing you for the newer ones. This charger will cover all your Micro USB, Mini USB phones, laptops, tablets and powerbanks. The fact that this charger never gets hot even at full load capacity is another sign of good internal components and thermal design. And finally, the inclusion of the US, UK and EU adapters should ensure that you can use it internationally on your travel. Hopefully my brief explanation has helped some of you.

Reliable, Good Auto Detection & UK Tech Suppots.
when it comes to electronics, I got to say I am quite wary. There’s been a lot of news report of chargers and batteries catching fire or actually exploding. So, I would rather pay a bit more for quality and safety. I saw this Sumvision brand being recommended quite a bit on forums. But it’s still important to do your own research. Anyway, I dug a little bit deeper and found out that this brand has actually been producing various electronics for well over 15yrs so that already gives me a bit more confidence they are not some fly-by-night companies that would use the cheapest parts and then just disappear. It was also a bonus to find that this charger is actually UK designed. And the most important part is that the after sales technical support is also UK based. So far, the charger has worked with every iphones, ipads, Android tablets I have. It also seems to charge very fast even when it’s a very old phone so hopefully that is a good sign of quality IC inside. The auto detection does seem to be very good. As it always charges at the same fast rate as the official charger of whatever phones or tablets, I plug it into. Although I have noticed it does tend to take about 10 seconds when you first plug it in before it goes into fast charging mode. I am assuming that’s the charger detecting what is the best amperage to charge the product in. But the thing that gave me the most confidence is that even at maximum charging with all 3 ports, the charger never got more than a little bit warm suggesting good components and high heat tolerance. One thing of note is that I have a high end Macbook Pro that is suppose to require 80W of power to charge. I tried it on this 65W Sumvision charger out of curiosity not expecting it to work. But was pleasantly surprised it charges although understandably at a slightly slower speed. Overall, I am very pleased with this charger, but I would still like to reserve my judgement until I have used it for a few years. If it still works reliably in a few years I will report back and definitely have more confidence with their other products. But so far sa good.

A Charger That Packs a Punch!
I purchased this charger, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Not only does it come at a reasonable price, but it also delivers quick and efficient charging for all my devices, including my Lenovo E580 laptop. The inclusion of two USB-C ports is fantastic. It allows me to charge multiple devices simultaneously, which is incredibly convenient. Whether I'm powering up my laptop, smartphone, or tablet, this charger handles it all with ease.Speaking of charging speed, this charger truly impresses. The quick charge feature ensures that my devices are juiced up in no time. It's a time-saver for those hectic days when I need a quick battery boost before heading out.But the real highlight for me is its ability to charge my Lenovo E580 laptop. This is no small feat, as laptops often require specialized chargers. With this charger, I can confidently plug in my laptop and watch it charge as efficiently as with its original charger. In conclusion, if you're in search of a versatile charger that won't break the bank, this is the one to go for. It's affordable, delivers quick charging, and can handle the power-hungry demands of a laptop like the Lenovo E580. Sum vision 65w pd usb
Great fast charge with 1 device at a time but doesn't seem to fast charge more than 1 device and works like all my other charging plugs when 2 or 3 items charging . A bit pricey for this products capabilities. Also sometimes need to take cable out and put it back in to have 1 device fast charge as it don't start fast charge 1st time . So it's either faulty or not what they say it is . Update after 1 year , funnily enough this plug now works with hardly any problems wasn't great as you can read with first review but now it's been working without any hassle and has been used regularly for about a year still fast charges and is worth the 4 star review . Hope this helps .

UK Design UK Tech Support
This is a great holiday charger. I have used it in the US, Germany, France and Romania so far. I have never lost a charger yet, so I have kept all the original chargers for pretty much all my electrical devices. But nothing beat having an all-in-one charger like this so you don’t have to constantly search for the correct plug for each individual devices. Of course, you still need different cables but that is just USB Type A and Type C cables for the majority of devices nowadays. And the space saving of not having to bring all the different adapters for a holiday is just liberating. It was actually my son who told me to buy this particular charger as apparently there are a lot of chargers on the market that can damage his precious Nintendo Switch. Since he seems to value his Nintendo above everything else in life, I figured he would have made enough research to pick the right brand. Although I do find it quite worrying that Amazon and EBay can sell other chargers that can potentially ruin a £250 device. Anyway according to his friends, this Sumvision charger is up to spec and indeed a quick search on Amazon seems to show this is the only multi-charger that is confident enough to list itself as being compatible with the Nintendo. But its not just the Switch this charger can work with. Me and my son have almost made it a contest to see what would work with it and so far, every electronic device old and new has charged flawlessly with this. But its not just being able to charge, it’s also about being able to charge fast. So, I have timed this charger against the original, and it has been able to match the original speed even my old Nokia 7 which has Qualcomm Quick Charge. It actualy managed to charge slightly faster than the factory original from zero to 80% within an hour. I know this is only a 65W charger but in my competition with my son, I also tried it on my 85W macbook pro. Impressively, it even charges the 85W laptop but at a slightly slower speed by about half an hour. So, what they tout as “Intelligent Auto-detecting Charging” does seem to work as it has always charge whatever device we plugged in at high speed. I also have to praise their after sales support. I had some questions about what cable to use for one of my device and it was quite a simple matter to contact their free UK based online tech department. Questions were quickly and clearly explained. I think it’s worth paying that little bit extra for quality from a UK company and UK support. So, you probably already worked out that I am very pleased with this charger. 10 out of 10. Top marks from me.

This charger can fast-charge my smartphone and laptop simultaneously, saving valuable time and can charge quickly, and I never have to worry about running out of battery during the day. It's incredibly convenient to have all these options in one compact charger. The GaN technology used in this charger makes it incredibly efficient and helps keep it cool during extended charging sessions. it easy to carry in my bag when I'm on the go.Overall, this Sumvision Charger has exceeded my expectations. A honest Company with a honest product
I initially bought a 30W Anker Charger to charge my laptop and ipad. I have had lots of other Anker product so it gave me confidence in the brand. So, when I received the first one and it seemed to charge at a snail’s pace or simply not charging at all I just assumed I was unlucky enough to receive a faulty one. They got me to send back the first Anker and sent me a replacement very quickly (I actually got it within 2 days so 10 out of 10 for speed of delivery). However, I was surprised the replacement still didn’t work as it is statistically improbable to have two faulty product in a row. It was only when I asked a more technie friend that I realise Anker’s headline figure of 30W for their USB C charger is actually a combination of all the ports including the USB A?! Their actual USB C power delivery is only 18W! 18W is so low for electronics nowadays as to be almost useless. It is also not the latest PD 2.0 standard so it was never going to charge my iphone or ipad pro at all. After a lot of research I finally got this Sumvision 65W charger. Their headline figure of 65W is actually understated. My friend’s port tester shows that this Sumvision charger can actually output over 75W and he said the fact that it is understated to allow more headroom is a good sign of quality. The USB C port tester confirmed it delivers to the latest PD 2.0 Power delivery standard and it was apparently very clean with only 0.05% fluctuation inline. Why can,t all companies be like this and actually be honest in their spec details or in this case, actually understating the performance to allow a margin of safety. Anyway, I just wanted to highlight this company as I am very impressed with their product and ethics. Obviously with such a high power rated product, this charger has charged everything we have thrown at it flawlessly. Everything charges super quick. It even manages to charge the 15” macbook pro (which is probably the highest power consumption apple device) from 0-80% in about an hour. Also, it does seem to have some intelligent sensor as even the older devices on the older legacy USB A port charges quick. My old Samsung Note 5 got charged from 0-100 in just under an hour and a half. And now after all his help and testing, even my techy friend is going to buy one for himself! So, very impressed all round.
