I’ve been using the De La Cruz 10% Sulfur Ointment Acne Treatment as a mask treatment, and overall, I really like it. It’s one of those products that actually delivers noticeable results. I used to have amazing skin but due to genetics I’ve been suffering from cystic acne. Within 1 use it pulled 3 cystic acne flare ups (that weren’t responding to other remedies at home for 2 weeks) straight up to the surface! My pores shrunk, flare ups diminished, evened my complexion & my skin feels amazing! To be clear this may cause purging of new acne as well which is expected with any true pore cleansing product. AND this is not*** a stand alone product, which is also true for any skin product. And do notttttt let me hear yall say you exfoliated then followed up with this please!!! It is not recommended. Use on clean skin after using a gentle exfoliator. Be mindful, it does have a warming sensation. Not tingling, just warming. Like a warm pack being placed on your face. It’s brief, maybe 30 seconds at best. And lastly, yes there is a sulfur scent. Upon opening the package it’s not even noticeable, I feel as though it’s barely noticeable when wearing the mask. It’s when you remove it you may smell it after it’s washed off but it disappears so quickly even my friends sniffed my face and couldn’t detect it without me saying anything (lol it needed to be done for this information! 😂) but if you’re worried I’d recommend using it on a night-in just in case! Overall, im addicted this product and its results & surely will keep ordering it over and over again!

used this for the first time last night as a 10-minute spot treatment, and I’m honestly impressed already. I had a few deeper, more stubborn bumps on my face, and by the next morning they looked noticeably smaller and less inflamed. First I will give you some background about me and my acne case. I've been dealing with acne of varying degrees for almost 30 years now. I've had, on my face/chest/back, and continue to have, moderate acne, mild nodular acne, aggressive acne due to prednisone use, and blackheads of all types. I've tried tons of products, both over the counter and prescription including Accutane, minocin, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, Retin-A Micro, Differin, and plenty of others. I've spent thousands of dollars over the years with (besides Accutane which had horrible side effects) no great relief from acne. About 14 months ago, after a health issue, I had to use a prednisone steroid which worsened my acne condition and caused me to seek out something that I've never tried because I was really desperate for help! I came across DeLa Cruz Sulfur Ointment on Amazon and started reading the rave reviews and comments. I figured, what could I lose at this price? Well I have to say this is the VERY BEST acne product that I have EVER used in 30 years! Of course nothing will block ALL acne pimples or blackheads and I have one or two show up on occasion, but with daily use, this product: 1. clears my acne problem 2. quickly heals and exfoliates the skin 3. clears dark marks and scars 200% better than any of those high priced "dark spot correctors" 4. does not excessively over dry the skin 5. does not stain bedding or clothing. Pretty miraculous!! Also, this product is NOT sticky at all. I'd say it has the consistency of thin Vaseline mixed with a very fine grained sand. It adds no oiliness to your skin though, and washes completely clean with water. Whatever is left over in the skin is doing its job to clear your acne problem. My regimen: I have been using this product for around 14 months. When I first began to use this I spread a very light coating of it all over my face and neck area for 15-20 minutes at night and again in the morning, washing it off with just warm water. For the first 5-10 days I used it, my skin would feel warm/irritated/itchy before rinsing it off. Your skin will build a tolerance for the product over time so it's important to be patient, stick with it, start slow, and work your way up to leaving it on for longer periods. That irritating feeling has gone away completely for me, and I'm able to leave it on without any irritation now. After using it twice daily for about 3 months, I began to only use it once daily in the morning for 15-30 minutes, with the same great effects. After rinsing it off I use a daily face moisturizer to avoid excess dryness (Eucerin Q10 Anti-Wrinkle sensitive skin crème). The sulfur ointment can be applied directly to existing pimples to treat them and quickly dry them up. It can also be mixed with moisturizer easily (in an amount about 4:1 moisturizer to sulfur ointment), to use on the face or areas all day. My experience has been, if it's used daily it will work wonderfully. At this point I am able to use it overnight at full strength on any existing pimples with no redness or irritation to my skin. In my experience, this product will dry existing pimples, bring underlying pimples to a head, stop pimple production, help exfoliate the skin, lighten dark marks and scars, and make the skin clear and evenly toned. I have noticed this comes in a scented variation also. Both the scented and non-scented have worked exactly the same. The scent has not bothered my skin at all. My advice would be, start slow, test your boundaries, use daily, moisturize, DO NOT get it near your eyes, and tell your friends and family. This product is not available anywhere in stores in my area. No one I know has ever heard of this product. In my opinion it should be on shelves in every store selling skin care products (in the actual acne section and not in the "ethnic" section which makes no sense at all).

I wish I took a before/after photo, this stuff is a miracle!!!! Out of nowhere i started developing little white pimples under my nose and some under my bottom lip. No, these are not cold sores, but perioral dermatitis. I later found out it was from a new heavy face cream. Anyways…one use and they were GONE overnight! I couldn’t believe it. The first thing I did in the morning was say to myself ‘well, let’s see if that stuff worked’. I turned on my lighted magnification mirror and could not believe not one bump! This little jar goes a long way…I only used it one time but let me tell you, I will not be without it and already purchased another. I will add that after using this, I applied Lucky Tiger Moisturizing Ointment (4 oz) – Therapeutic Sulfur Cream. Follow the instructions and let the De La Cruz ointment set for 10 minutes, then wash off. This stuff is magic!

My skin has broken out off and on throughout my adult years. It was absolutely hormone-related, which I hoped would clear up completely when I was a "grown up." I'm 35 now, and in the past two years I began getting the painful cystic type of acne along my jawline. Hormonal acne didn't seem to have a quick fix, and I tried everything topical, as well as oral vitamins and probiotics. Proactiv was helpful in some ways, but I realized it was mostly because it exfoliated my skin and cleaned my pores. I like having small pores and a glowing complexion, of course, but I was still getting the cystic acne monthly, and Proactiv is harsh and their auto shipping and billing is obnoxious! I have always known sulfur-based acne products have worked on my skin. The Proactiv mask was one of my favorite products, and Mario Badescu's healing lotion has been a great spot treatment for me (but a bit harsh). Knowing that sulfur was effective in treating adult acne, and hormonal acne, I searched Amazon for sulfur acne products that might just be that miracle that I was wishing existed for my skin... I am so glad I ordered De La Cruz Sulfur Ointment! 1. It was so cheap I thought it was worth a shot! 2. After the extensive research I have conducted, the ingredients seemed to make sense for acne treatment. 3. Um... It was under eight dollars! I do read the reviews, but I am judicious in forming my own opinion. I believed the positive reviews seemed more detailed and the explanations were clearly thought out. The negative reviews often talked about teens or people who maybe didn't follow the directions exactly as stated, or sulfur just wasn't the best ingredient for their treatment. Everyone is different, and I know from experience that typical ingredients alone, like salicylic acid, don't work for me. When I first got this product I did not read the directions and used it as a spot treatment at night, not rinsing it off. So... That will m ake your skin peel and turn red like crazy! Hey, I didn't mind getting some exfoliation going on my face, but it was very peely and very red! I read the directions, (duh), and started using it for 10 minutes at a time, cleansing with Cetaphil after the 10 minutes were up. I sometimes use it twice a day now. Listen, people: For the first time since I was quite young, I can leave my house with no makeup at all, even when my hormones should be reeking havoc on my face, and my skin looks clear, my pores are clean and tiny, and my skin tone is pretty darn even considering the acne scarring I have on my chin area from picking at my skin when I was too young to know better (don't do it, kids!). I don't need concealer, I can use a tinted moisturizer if I want to even out my complexion, and not foundation. I have been using this since late November, and I am just now getting close to needing to reorder. I do get a few blemishes, however they are not deep and painful and come to the surface so easily and disappear quickly. I say you should give this a shot, since you really only have about eight bucks to lose! I am so glad I took a chance on an unknown product that just seemed way too affordable to actually work on my skin!

This stuff is an awesome sulfur product and one I recommend easily. I’m sorry to see the few people that received theirs broken or otherwise poorly packaged, mine arrived safety sealed with a closed lid and wrapped in plastic, in a timely manner and just perfect to be honest. I wore it as a mask for about 15-20 minutes (package recommends 10 mins but my skin isn’t sensitive) and was careful to wash it off. The texture is very softly grainy, like powdered sand in a cream. I rinsed with water only before going to bed and it leaves a slight residue but that’s kind of what I wanted. It would take a facial cleanser to really remove that. It didn’t sting my eyes but I was careful not to get it too near or wash them with my wet hands, as I don’t know if stinging is a real concern or not. The scent isn’t overpowering but you do notice it a little, and if you just rinse it off with water there is a scent that lingers - the next morning, I was told it smelt like sulfur on my skin but I thought it smelt like burnt plastic lol. I tried several other simpleskincarescience products for malasezzia and this was the product that very nearly got rid of it in 1 night (before this, the red Stridex and Alpha-H 14% Intensive Rejuvenating Serum both helped tremendously). It’s pretty cheap and you don’t need much for an application so I’d think it will last a good while even with regular use. It is a little drying but I’d think just cleansing the next morning and moisturizing will set your skin to rights and I wouldn’t warn dry-skin users against it, it’s still pretty gentle. Will repurchase for use as a mask because I’m a skincare buff and plain sulfur is somewhat hard to find in skincare products. Update: my eyes can be sensitive but this stuff doesn’t bother me at all. Don’t wash your eyes with it or anything, but being a bit sloppy with washing it away shouldn’t cause any burning.

Ayant de l'acné depuis plus de 20 ans, je peux vous dire que j'ai essayé beaucoup de produit. Celui-ci est le seul qui a eu un effet positif, franchement c'est bluffant (1 mois d'utilisation pour l'instant). Est-ce que ça soigne réellement l'acné ? J'imagine que non, mais poser cette pommade 10 minutes par jour sur mon visage me permet d'arrêter les poussées d'acné et de ne plus être enflammé. C'est déjà beaucoup ! Je vous recommande d'essayer.

Es gab eine Produkt Empfehlung auf YouTube von einer amerikanischen Hautärztin, die Dutzende von dermatologischen Produkten Noten gibt. Ich dachte mir, ich riskiere ja nichts, außer wieder einmal Geld auszugeben für ein Produkt, dass mir nichts bringt. Aber diesmal lag ich falsch. Ich habe speziell auf der Nase immer wieder entzündete Pickel, aufgrund großer Poren und einhergehende Mitesser, die sich dann eben entzünden. Binnen in 2 Tagen waren alle Entzündungen abgeheilt, nachdem ich die Creme zunächst nur auf der Nase aufgetragen habe. Sie sieht nicht unbedingt appetitlich aus. Ein bisschen wie Vaseline, nur gelblicher. Sie lässt sich aber gut verteilen und man braucht nicht viel. Auf der Haut entwickelt sie ein bisschen einen strengeren Geruch. Wobei ich wirklich glaube, dass es nicht an der Creme liegt, sondern an der Wirkung auf die Entzündung. Ich habe die Creme an einem Wochenende probiert, an dem ich das Haus sowieso nicht verlassen habe, weil ich hat mit allem gerechnet habe. Aber diese Creme ist wirklich gut. Mittlerweile hab ich sie auch im ganzen Gesicht aufgetragen mit der gleichen guten Wirkung. Also von mir gibt's dafür fünf Sterne.

Como punt negativo el olor que desprende, pero es inevitable ya que el azufre tiene ese olor característico a huevos podridos. Al final te acostumbras. Recomiendo usarlo antes de la ducha ya que así lo puedes retirar completamente bajo el grifo

I am a oily acne prone skin type suffering from pcod because of which my skin get breakout quite often with a mix variety of closed comedones nd cyst acne, desperately looking of a solution after use all the option like salicylic acid, adapalene, retinol,cylamdacin , korean skincare so as oral meds ( which help fr a while but blessed me with recurring episode of acne as soon as i stop thm) i cme across a page reference fr this ointment as sulphur cn do wonder fr acne . M writing this review after a whole 1 month used and i have seen a drastic chnge in reduction of my acne without changing the food i was eating, without opting fr any exercise just a single use in evening fr 10-15 min nd u will see ur acne drying out by nxt day. Fr me it worked well,, writing this so dat if anyone is looking solution fr their fungal acne(itching one) ,or cystic one do give it a try Ps: It do dry out the skin abit,try opting fr ceramide basd cream Product which i use was - Fcewash- cosrx lowph facewash Cream- Formula rx ceramide moisturizer (d/n) Always remove ur sunscreen with a micellar water in evening nd don't b too harsh while using the cotton as it cn strip the skin.
