Lilac and Gooseberry Perfume Oil | .3 ounces Roll On Bottle | Phthalate Free Fragrance | Yennefer Perfume Scent of a Sorceress

This perfume oil is amazing. Was not sure what to expect, but ordered it after watching The Witcher on Netflix and playing Witcher 3, all the references to lilac and gooseberries made me very curious what it smells like. As soon as I received it the smell was not what I expected at all, I guess I thought it would be a lot more floral (which I actually don't like) but I was very pleasantly surprised. It definitely has a sweet lilac scent but it is not super flowery, the balance of the tart sweet gooseberry scent blends it perfectly so it just smells amazing. Pretty indescribable, but I would say the overall scent profile is fresh. Slightly sweet in a clean way, once it's applied to my skin and warms up, mixes with my body chemistry it definitely pulls a lot more tart berry than lilac. Let's talk for a quick second about the longevity. Holy heck, this perfume lasts forever. I applied it as soon as I got it around noon yesterday, and when I woke up this morning I could still smell it lingering on my skin. It's also pretty powerful, be careful how much you apply because too much of a good thing can still be too much. It triggered a slight asthma attack when I decided to apply even more of the already generous application I had done earlier in the day. It's so affordable there's no reason to not try this perfume, I don't think you will be disappointed because it is such a unique and amazing scent. Very feminine and my husband is definitely a big fan

It's a beautiful balanced blend that doesn't overwhelm you, but you don't need a lot of it either. It reminds me of a certain body spray from the early 2000's. It's floral and and sweet fruit almost. It doesn't smell like chemicals. It even came with an expiration date. But honestly, I'll probably need to buy more before then because I'm gonna wear this every day.

My only qualm with it is that it fades very quick You can tell there's not much fragrance per oil. It lost a star for that but it smells really good. But you have to reapply very regularly doesn't even make it through my first 3 hours of work so it's a date night perfume unfortunately. Just in case anybody is under the impression that this is real lilacs it most certainly isn't I don't know about the gooseberries could possibly be some strand of gooseberry. Lilacs are extremely hard to compress or make a real perfume from the real lilac. That being said though it smells really good I would like it it to lavender a little bit but more fruity floral. It's definitely a nice scent and you'll probably get compliments. Just know it's not very strong it fades quickly and it's not the actual lilac.

Edit #2 .. this is magic , it gets better as it ages .. the opposite of most scents . I’ve had for a few months now . Most of the overly sweet scent is gone leaving a lovely, interesting scent.. and best of all for a person that gets scent induced migraines.. no headache at all . Edit: this stuff changes! It gets better . The sickly sweet notes evaporate. Leaves a much better scent. My friends love it .. so I will be buying more for them Valentine’s Day. Overly sweet top notes( let it air out or sit for a month ) , middle has some intriguing bits … zero base = no sticking power. You will have to reapply every 30 min . On the plus side .. I do get scent induced migraines and there was none from this .( STILL NO HEADACHE!!) I would love a scent with just the non sugary middle notes , that lasted more than 20 min. Arrived quickly , nice packaging, lovely label. EDIT: After a few days with the cap open the cotton candy smell evaporated . Leaving the scent more mature & much better smelling . Still has a short life ..BUT I discovered that it lasts much longer on fabric! I’m starting to enjoy it but still wish it wasn’t quite as much sugar smell. I actually wish they made a shampoo with this scent . Or a fabric spray. I was super disappointed at 1st , but it gets better every day . And now I reach for it . So confused!

LOVE the smell Got another for my friends. Just remember to shower daily as it smells different when you are not clean. Yeah, the girl smelled like old flowers that are molding. It was weird. Had to tell her and let her know. And indeed you must make sure to stay clean when you are applying.

Absolutely love the smell it’s so good it’s a nice strong but not over powering, long lasting roll on oil, sadly half the bottle was gone/ spilled when I received it

I loved Yennifer in The Witcher series. The last season, someone asked her what scent she wore. Gooseberry and Lilac. Thought I'd give it a try. It's WONDERFUL. I bought the small roll-on, to start. It smells the same on my wrists as it does in the roll on. Perfect! I know some scents smell different once applied on skin, but this smells exactly the same. I am hooked! Yennifer put a spell on me!
