Original lockbox lasted 3.5 years then became difficult to open and corroded on the front (**Old lockbox pictured) . Ordered another as otherwise all good.

These seem to be common for Airbnb but I've found some that it's tricky to get the keys into so pleased that this is nice and large inside whilst not being too big outside - it's not something you want to draw attention to. I've got it because we're having some building work done and there will be different people needing to come and go so we can have somewhere safe to leave keys from time to time. It's easy to set up a code and then open the box; the dials are smooth and precise. The unit seems pretty strong - it has a good weight as if it's constructed from decent metals. It comes with fixing screws that are then hidden inside. You might want to use something stronger for where you're fixing it, but then that's always true for supplied fixings. I've been happy leaving the keys in this and had no issues with people new to this getting them in and out so would be ideal for airbnb. I might be tempted to use it when my kids are coming home from school by themselves and more likely to lose a key than forget a simple number.

Our front door is the type that can only be opened from the outside with a key. The number of times the front door has closed of it's own accord when someone takes out rubbish etc. is ridiculous, leaving the poor family member locked out and having to ring the doorbell to be let back in. This is ok providing there is someone else at home. Just recently, I wasn't so lucky and I had to wait outside for two hours until someone else came home. That was when I decided a keysafe was the way to go. After a fair bit of research and review reading, I settled on this one. It arrived the following day and was an absolute breeze to install. All that was needed was a drill with 6mm masonry bit and a phillips screwdriver. 10 minutes later and it was very securely mounted to an exterior was using the supplied fittings. Setting the code was also extremely easy. It has now been on the wall for a couple of months in all weathers and is still in perfect condition and operates perfectly, as I found out ten minutes ago when I took out a bag of rubbish and the bloody door shut behind me.....

The lockbox is easy to install. Crucially, one can also easily change the 4 digit key code. The material appears strong. All is exactly as described.

This product is not as per the photo. The one I got was fallsely branded as master lock. The product is alright, but it is important to say that it's not as per the photo or the brand.
