Elinchrom Portalite Softbox 66x66cm (EL26129)

The Portalite line is perfect for travel, specifically for flights. All other uses I would recommend the Rotalux line as it provides bigger sized options, faster set up and break down speed, and an interior baffle option. But if you need to jump on a flight with one, I'd go with the 66cm Portalite for it's smaller footprint. Unlike the Rotalux that is basically still assembled when you collapse it, the Portalite completely disassembles into a flat bag that you could fit into an exisiting carry on bag. When I fly, my two carry-ons are a Thinktank backpack that holds my cameras and lenses, and a Pelican 1510 that houses my strobes. The Portalite fits perfectly into the Pelican case. If I wanted to bring my 100cm Rotalux Octa, it would basically have to go as it's own carry on, and I'd have to check one of the bags that holds cameras and strobes, which obviously I don't want to do. So if you're flying out of state and need a softbox, whether it's for a paid assignment or a family vacation, I'd recommend the Portalite quite highly. I'd say it probably takes 1 full minute to assemble, which isn't the end of the world if you ask me. If you don't plan on flying with it and are looking for a workhorse for more local on location assignments, it's hard not to go with the Rotalux line. They are more expensive but ultimately speeds up your on location workflow significantly, while giving you greater size options. Hope that helps!

ELinchrom's quality is unquestionable, however this little soft box is a little too tight to put together and even though I am very very careful the inner lining ripped very soon after i started using it. Otherwise it works perfectly!

Make yourself a favor and spend a little more on any Rotalux softbox, which is way better than this basic Portalite. This is an entry level softbox and is a pain to setup on location shots.

The illustration of the softbox shows the small Elinchrom Quadra size speedring. That's what I wanted. When it arrived I opened it to find the large EL size speedring. Just like all the other Elinchrom softboxes I already have. Yes this will fit my big studio Elinchrom strobe. But I want a small box for the EL500 (Quadra-size) head. After my disappointment I went back and read in tiny print at the bottom of the product page that it fits the larger size mounts. So, the quadra speedring in the photo, the EL speedring when it arrives. If you're looking for a Quadra size softbox, look elsewhere.

Does what it says on the tin. I never understand why flimsy pieces on material cost so much money but what can you do

Die Elinchrom Softboxen zählen sicherlich nicht zu den günstigen Varianten, aber dennoch lohnt sich die höhere Investition. Die original Softboxen verursachen keinen Farbstich, wie manche Plagiate. Zudem passt auch der Bajonett-Verschluss optimal, was bei Drittanbietern noch lange nicht der Fall ist.

Ottimo prodotto conforme a quello riportato, celere consegna e prezzo peccato che la disponibilità era solo di uno l'altro l'ho dovuto prendere altrove!!! Comunque soddisfatto

Lo que le falto a esta ventana es un accesorio que venia anteriormente para difuminar mas la luz y que se insertaba en el flash de estudio (ver imagen)
