Tiptree Apricot Preserve, 12 Ounce (Pack of 1)

Delicious a little expensive but taste was great.

This product is amazing! As soon as I tasted it, I immediately added additional flavors of this brand to my list so I can try them as well. The ingredients are simple and the flavor is intense. I normally use preserves in plain yogurt, but this product needs to be enjoyed with bread or crackers, without anything else interfering with its flavor. It does go well with butter, though. I’m definitely going to order this again.

This review is for the Tiptree Apricot Preserve, 12 Ounce Jar. The preserves themselves aren't bad. I like that they're actually made with real sugar instead of high-fructose corn syrup. The flavor is pretty typical for apricot preserves but I would have like them to be just slightly more tart. They'd be good as an ingredient for glazing baked goods or fortifying sauces, but just on they're own they're kinda one-note in taste. My biggest complaint is that the jar came in a box with a single pillow pack rather than being wrapped in bubble wrap. As such, the jar came with a dent in the lid. Normally a dent like that would break the seal but in my case I got lucky. If the seal had been broken, it would be unsafe to eat (or make a mess in the box). These really should be wrapped in bubble wrap before shipping to prevent breakage or a lid dent like in the photo.

Very best apricot jam ever! We love it

Product was delivered promptly and in good condition. The contents were highly gelatinous and almost too thick to spread, but without noticeable pieces of apricot. In the US, we would call that "jam" or "jelly", not "preserves". I was glad to see that it contained sugar rather than high fructose corn syrup, and with a near perfect level of sweetness. The only thing lacking was fruity apricot flavor. Glad I tried it, but back to Bonne Maman, Hero or even Smuckers.

Absolutely delicious apricot preserve from Tiptree with no nasty additives. It's so good on toast in the morning.

Tiptree is by far the best marmalade and jam - high recommended.

I bought this Jam via Amazon because, amazingly, none of my local supermarkets stocked in in the run up to Christmas. I wanted it primarily to make a Christmas Cake. It’s a bizarre world to live in when Waitrose doesn’t stock it and you have to buy it from Amazon.
