Very cute mini volleyball!

I love the Wilson Cast Away Volleyball!!! Its perfect. Wilson is thrown in our pool at the beginning of every summer. Its not summer without him. I only gave 4 stars because years ago when we purchased our 1st Wilson, his face stayed up right, he was perfect! But then he faded and turned color from algea by me not storing him properly we deflated him and places long grass , bamboo and sticks in a hole we made on top of his " head" as was done in the movie and place him on the hill next to our waterfall. But the next one we bought his face would always fall forward drifting around the pool. I thought it was a one off defective. So again the next year I got him again and again same issue, his face was in the water. I tried tapping a small counter weight to the opposite side of his face but yeah that didn't work. But once again I just bought one last month and the problem still exists. That's my only complaint. I wish your company could work that out somehow, to ensure Wilson's face stays up right and can float around in eater having his face is the correct position to avoid having his face in the water 🙏 🙏 🙏 Having said all that these Wilson's are awesome!! I posted a video is where his face is positioned incorrectly. The face needs to be perpendicular to the water ya know? The image is what we did with Wilson the 1st.. retired him behind the water fall. We will keep buying him in hopes we are sent a "good one" but all in all my family and I love this product and we can't start summer without him at all even if he's being all glitch. 😆 Thanks, A faithful customer💙

People keep asking me if Wilson can come out and play. I ask him what he thinks and he is always ready to go. Unlike seemingly everyone else here, I adopted Wilson because I needed a volleyball to play with and wanted something different so that I could easily identify my ball on the court. Wilson definitely fit that bill. He doesn't keep me up at night because I keep him locked out in my car. Usually in the backseat, but sometimes I need the space so in the trunk he goes. My only complaint with him is that he was full of hot air when I got him which made him pretty hard. I let a little bit of it out and it is now a much better playing experience. Wilson has been played with in the pool and in the sand a dozen or so times now and hasn't had any performance problems. Update: I want to give an update after a year of play. Wilson did pick up a couple scuffs from hitting the cement or chain-link fence surrounding the court. Nothing too huge. I think I screwed up though. I always left him in my car because we played every week in a bar league and would sometimes play on weekends at family events and such. I didn't take him out before winter set in. Recently I came across him in my trunk and the seams are splitting. I'm 99% sure this is thanks to the MN cold, it wasn't like this last time we used him. I think he is still playable, but he looks all battered now :( So don't make Wilson live out in the cold over winter, whether a shed or trunk. Bring him inside and make him a part of your family. That is all he wants after all.

Too bad it doesn't come pre-inflated but I will have to find a pump and get that done. Otherwise, no complaints, it's a novelty item and a pretty cool one too, if you're a fan of Castaway (if you're not, go and watch it). It doesn't have any fancy packaging but for the price I can't complain.
