I bought this to replace a master cylinder from a UTV brake system kit that came with a bad master cylinder. This worked great right out of the box, the outlet is 1/2-20 (I didn't find this in the specs or reviews before buying and it's important). Very beefy, good sized reservoir. Only thing I would mention is that this much cylinder bore and stroke (1" bore x 1-7/16 stroke) makes for a VERY stiff petal so if you are designing your own brake system make sure to give yourself a good amount of mechanical advantage in your brake petal arm design. Would buy again, do recommend. PS: it does NOT come with the cylinder pushrod that connects your petal to your master cylinder so you will need to source that separately.

Good price and fit my 1967 cj5 but the listing says made in US. Box says made in Taiwan, which is better than their neighbor imo.

Straight swap to CJ2a factory master cylinder.
Well it’s straight swap to my CJ2a factory master cylinder. All the fittings and bolt direct fits. I juts installed and tasted it brakes really good. My rear wheels lock up on hard brake. I juts want to put there for people who not sure about CJ2a fitting. You will be fine with this one. I used all old washers, bolt, split valve and fitting works like charm. I just only have 5 miles on this and it brakes good. I will provide more info as it ages. Thank you, keep building your projects don’t lag.

The fit was perfect !
We couldn’t believe we found this part on Amazon. This old girl hasn’t seen new parts. It fit perfectly. Did not have to replace any thing. Hooked right up. Got good breaks now. They delivered right to our door! We live in the hills ! Awesome service! Package was great ! Highly recommend!
