If your canning tomatoes, then you want this tool!
This little gadget is the best tool ever! It makes canning tomatoes so much easier and 10x faster. Using this tool to cut out the core of the tomato is better than a knife which can slip. The tool fits nicely in your hand and keeps up with the task at hand. The price is very reasonable too!! I am sad I never knew this tool existed before!

The best berry huller. Give them as little gifts!
If you've never tried one of these strawberry hullers, you're missing out. I live in north county, San Diego. We have some of the sweetest local strawberries that make store-bought taste like dust. Consequently, we buy a lot during the season. Most people cut the tops off. What a waste! This tool will remove the green top and none of the delicious berry. A little twist of the wrist and you have a full strawberry with just a little dent in the top where the stem was. And here's a helpful tip: take your strawberries, plunk them all in a bowl of water with a little vinegar. Swish them around a bit to clean them and then hull. Lay them on layers of towel or paper towel to dry and then place them loosely in a clean jar with a top. They'll keep in the refrigerator for a long time! You're welcome!

This handy tool looks so useful. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, however. When strawberry season hits, I'll appreciate the usefulness a lot, I'm sure!!
