BESTEK 500W Car Vehicle Power Inverter DC 12V to AC 230V 240V Converter Car Charger Lighter Adapter with Dual USB Ports

I bought this to use in a show van to light up a few table lights . Due to the fact that I will only be using it for lights I decided that the less expensive 500 watts “non sine wave” would be fine for me. I am using a four foot extension lead and plug the lights into and It works well . I am using 3-4 watt led lamps in each of the lights and the inverter is performing as it should and lighting up the back of my showroom van . It feels sturdy and well built the 13 amp plug socket feels solid As does the cigarette socket too. Overall it feels like a good purchase and I would recommend it.

Bought this off Amazon Warehouse so it represented even better value for money. It appears well made, sturdy and comes equipped with both jump and cigarette type leads plus spare fuses although I have only used and plan on using the former. It also has a couple of usb ports. Compared to the cost of buying a stand alone power supply I got this item and a suitable 12V battery for less than £100, a good quality equivalent portable power station would be at least four to five times that amount and I already have a couple of good quality trickle chargers for use with other leisure batteries which also kept the cost down.

Runs almost silently, easily mounted on any wooden surface and works as expected. A little smaller than I thought it would be but that is a bonus in a Campervan

Ok i purchased this and was going to run it off my power station but it would not power off 1 so i tried another and then i tried in the car ciggy socket but nothing , the seller was fair and refunded but i am guessing these are made in the country we are not allowed to type on here the same as one of the power station i had that failed from day one . i would say do not buy and look at other brands

Bought to replace the 2 other inverters i had bought and this one does what it says on the tin. A great little inverter, well built, quiet and value for money

This looks and feels like a really well made little inverter, i've had a few similar inverters but this one is incredibly quiet, you wouldnt know it was running if it wasn't for the green light. so far I've only used it for light loads so it might be a bit noisier if pushed to its limit, but very happy with it.

Plugged a 70W TV and 100W games console into the unit and after two minutes it shut down due to overheating. The unit was mounted with adequate space around it and it was not a warm day, so in summary cannot handle 170W without shutting down.

The product is clearly advertised as a “pure sine wave” inverter. When the product arrived and I read the paper copy of the instructions it says it is a “modified sine wave” inverter. The difference is: Pure sine wave power is identical to standard grid electricity, making it safe for all devices. Modified sine wave power is cheaper, but has a jagged waveform that can damage or cause malfunctions in sensitive equipment. I would not have purchased the product had it been correctly advertised on the Amazon website as a “modified sine wave” inverter. This is highly misleading
