Mechanix Wear Original Touchscreen Work Gloves, Large, Black

The Mechanix Wear Original Work Gloves are absolutely fantastic! I’ve been using them for a variety of tasks—everything from DIY projects to working on my car—and they have held up incredibly well. The synthetic leather provides great durability without sacrificing flexibility, making them comfortable to wear for extended periods. The fit is perfect (I ordered the medium), and the secure wrist closure keeps the gloves snugly in place, so I don’t have to constantly adjust them while working. I especially love the fact that they’re touchscreen capable, which allows me to use my phone or tablet without taking the gloves off—a huge convenience. The gloves provide excellent protection without feeling bulky, and the material is tough enough to withstand heavy use while still being breathable. Whether I’m handling tools, lifting materials, or doing more delicate work, these gloves provide the perfect balance of dexterity and toughness. Overall, the Mechanix Wear gloves are durable, versatile, and comfortable. If you need a reliable pair of gloves for any kind of work, these are an excellent choice. Highly recommend.

I have never had an issue with Mechanix wear gloves. Good quality and good size selection. I bought a pair for my daughter (xs) and they fit her very well (like a glove 😆).

Comfy, look nice, seem strong, fairly protective for urbex use

Mechanix Original Glove, Black, Large, 2012 Edition I just purchased these in early February 2012, so the design, description, and review is current as of the date. This is my third pair of Mechanix Original Gloves. I still have the Mechanix Off-Shore Oil Rig worker gloves that I use for skateboarding and outdoor sporting activities, and I had tried a pair of Mechanix M-Pact gloves but I didn't like those. The first pair of Mechanix Original gloves I had were from 2007. Those wore out fairly quickly but I kept sewing the holes in the fingers to prolong their useful life. I bought another pair in 2009, and the main differences were in the use of 65% Nylon / 35% Polyurethane all around the fingers. With the older 2007 pair, Mechanix used a more durable material on the sides of the fingers and those lasted 5 years without wearing down. But the 65/35 simulated leather was wearing down fast. With the 2009 pair, Mechanix changed the wrist strap to use more thermoplastic for protection, and the hook/loop material was changed. The hook material (stiff Velcro) is a more modern shortened material that tends to last longer. With these 2012 gloves, I noticed Mechanix changed the font on the back of the gloves and revised the wrist strap yet again. The thermoplastic is now much thicker and there is a space to write your initials/name on the ID: part of the wrist strap. The simulated leather material remained the same. I really like the Mechanix gloves because they are washable and I get a lot of grip/feeling with these. That said, I also am guilty of buying the less expensive knock-offs at Harbor Freight or the local store to use as shooting gloves or for wrenching. I generally use the Mechanix gloves when I am at work or in a professional shop environment - let's say I feel it is more like "bling" for the shop. But I don't discount the Mechanix quality, it's just that they all seem to wear out at the same rate, and they all provide the same level of low-impact protection. In the end, and to be brutally honest, the Mechanix gloves cost more for the name and branding. This is also why I am starting to like the Fast Fit gloves more because the knock-off brands don't seem to have that design. They imitate the original style more often. Overall: 4/5 stars, the most commonly used pair of gloves in the shop - kind of pricey, knock-offs seem to do the same job at a lower price, the 65/35 simulated leather tends to wear out quickly, and the Velcro straps are annoying when you need to take them off quickly. I would recommend looking at the Fast Fit gloves.

If you're looking for good work and combat gloves this is definitely on of the best light weight gloves

Was skeptical about the brand hype, graduated from cheap knock offs, still on pair 1, would’ve gone through twice the price in cheap gloves by now.

Picked these up for the wife because she fell in love with mine. Good gloves are something you don't think about but really should!

I've bought every Mechanix glove under the sun 🌞 as the fit and comfort are 5 star 🌟. I must say even though the Mechanix gloves have potential of a 5 star rating especially if they made the glove waterproof and more durable from damage etc this one is much better than my last pair. This model type is warmer, bigger and better fit and has a much better grip for working in the warehouse my last pair the grip was terrible the palm was silky smooth and very slippy. This glove has a great touch screen on Samsung unlike some other Mechanix pairs, comes in handy working in a fridge & freezer i will buy again i just hope i get at least 6 weeks out of this pair before i buy yet another. Really hard to find a more durable glove that fits this well.

Clubs fit good happy with delivery time will highly recommend

I use them and abuse them for mechanical and workshop general work. Really GOOD overall. Obviously do not expect to pick up tine bits and pieces with those, but they do the ninety percent of mechanical jobs.

Nice gloves, good fit and great feel for doing jobs on the car.
