It's nice to have an instant can wash filthy things in this little machine works great
This washer is great. It has very stable, it's very durable. The insulations really cheap is the true value for your money and grade on water usage. Also, excellent for washing something in a bucket or a bend that you do not want to wash in your washer machine. It's great for the pre wash to get all the stuff off of what you need to wash

Worked pretty well! I also added an immersion heater
Day 1: worked well. I donโt really have any complaints. I wish the motor was a little bit stronger to do a heavier load. I also wish the timer went longer. I filled up a big Rubbermaid tub and put an immersible heater in there along with a laundry pod. I ended up getting the temperature to 135ยฐ then I shut it off. I washed two pair of scrubs, underwear, socks, one pair of jeans, and one sheet. I ended up taking the jeans and the sheet out, and after the other clothes were done, I removed them and washed the jeans and then the sheet in the same hot sudsy water. The electrical cord is only about 3 feet so Iโll probably get an extension cord.

Does the trick
Ok. I have only had this for a month and I like it. 1. It works. It does its job adequately. I think the discolored water in the bucket is fabric dye, not dirt, so I would not say it cleans better than a washing machine, but it does properly agitate the water and the clothes do spin around. It is far superior to manual meditation, which I had been doing before I bought this agitator. 2. It was difficult to find the right container for it. I started with a 5 gal. paint bucket, but the clamp did not close properly due to the ridges on the bucket, so the agitator was not secure and safe. Then tried a 10 gal. stock pot. It was too big and heavy when filled. I finally settled on a 20 qt. beverage dispenser with a spigot to drain the water out. That works almost perfectly, and does the trick. 3. I use it in my shower along with a Panda spinner, which really gets the water out. Then my clothes dry in a couple of hours on hangers hanging on the shower rod. As the weather cools, drying time increases. 4. I have found that in the evening after changing out of my work clothes, I agitate the clothes for 15 min and then soak them overnight. Then I drain, rinse, and agitate again in the morning. Then I spin and hang. Then I agitate and soak my night clothes in the morning so they are ready to rinse spin and hang when I get home from work. Sheets and towels get washed weekly. This way I pretty much never have dirty laundry. 5. The agitator is loud, but not so loud it bothers me with the door shut. 4. When not in use, I hang the agitator from S hooks on a wall mounted TP holder which I mounted in the shower with the motor above shower head level do it does not get wet. The cord hangs down, but does not touch the shower floor. 5. The only thing I don't like about it is the bright color. If it was white, it would blend in with the shower better. 6. I wish the manufacturer would make the perfect 20 qt. bucket with a basket insert and a spigot. My beverage container is almost perfect, but the clamp that holds the agitator securely lifts off with the agitator unless I hold it in place because there is no lip on the edge of the beverage container. The perfect bucket would have a strategically placed ridge to hold th clamp in place and a basket insert that would lift the clothes out to quickly drain the water. 7. No laundromat for me anymore! This system saves me time and money and the aggravation of the laundromat. Don't even get me started on how unpleasant it is to spend even 5 minutes in a laundromat! 8. Only time will tell how long it lasts, but at this point I am satisfied well enough to write a positive review.

Happy with my purchase
We have been using this in a regular old home depot bucket, and so maybe that's why we can't wash a lot of clothes at one time with it. But the clothes we are able to wash come out crazy clean! The motor on this will run hot, it comes with a timer and as the manual says you can only use it for 15 minutes at a time. We use it for 5 minutes at a time because we do worry about the longevity of the motor. But for the cost and purpose, this exceeded my expectations. It can clean better than a regular washing machine, easily, in just 5 minutes (I do presoak the clothes). However you are limited to size/amount of clothes (You won't be able to do bed sheets or winter jackets, things like that.) Overall I am happy with it

update after 12 weeks of use.
Update: Today is 10/15/2019. Iโve washed 4-5, six gallon buckets of clothes/week since I received the Kofohon Portable Washing Machine. The instructions say to not let the Kofohon motor run for more than 15 minutes. Thatโs no problem for me, Iโve been handwashing clothes with the routine of: agitate for 5 minutes, soak for 5 minutes, agitate for 5 minutes, wring, rinse, wringer, rinse, wringer and hang to dry. My Kofohon never runs for more than 5โ at a time. It usually gets more than 30โ rest between final rinse and next wash. Thatโs only 10โ total run time/hr. Unfortunately, it smells like the motor is burning out after 2 wash buckets. Iโll contact Kofohon and report back. At nearly $100 for the machine, I saved no money on laundry these past 11 weeks. Very disappointed. Received 8/1/2019 and Iโve washed three 6 gallon buckets of laundry already today using this amazing machine. My clothes and linens came out cleaner than the laundromat washers! Itโs perfect for anyone with space or lease issues that prevent installing a washer. It also saves your back and gas from hauling baskets of clothes to the laundromat every week, not mention no more shoving rolls of quarters into machines. Iโll recoup the cost in two months. I set it up in my kitchen sink (double sink), but you could use your tub/shower if you prefer. If you limit the detergent to 1 Tbsp/6 gallon bucket and hand wring out your fabric items really well after washing, you can rinse twice -wring out really well between rinses- and youโll be amazed how clean your clothes are. I line dry, too -thereโs nothing better than line dried laundry. The motor is quite powerful. It was able to wash a pair of jeans, shirt and underwear in that 6 gal bucket quite easily. If Iโd had a taller bucket holding more water, Iโve no doubt it could cope with a full size sheet or couple of towels. It could use more robust and adjustable clamps so that it doesnโt move when in operation. I wedged a rolled up washcloth under each hook to minimize movement. I am so glad I found this.

It is LOUD!
Works fine for what it is, but it is sooo loud! Not exactly worth the cost.

How I use it
I had this machine for 3 weeks. It cleans my clothes better than the coin washing machine in my apartment building @ $2.25 a load. I would use the coin machine 2 times a week, so the bucket washer will pay for itself in 9 months. I only wash the clothes for 5 or 6 minutes and use very little soap so i don't get a lot of suds. It's better to leave the machine holder on the buck at all times, once you clamp it on, leave it on, and just slide the machine out of the attachment. Just a suggestion, The way I do it: I put the empty bucket, along with the attachment into my tub, and fill with water. Some times i do it the night before, or after my morning shower, and put the clothes and soap in to soak. When I come home, I slide the machine into the attachment, set the timer and turn it on. After the machine stop's,slide it out of the attachment, and put it in small empty bucket by the tub. Do not pick the laundry bucket up, just slowly tip it over over onto it's side, so all the water drains out. You will see how good it works when you see how dirty the water is. After the water is drained, turn the bucket upside down, leaving the clothes in the tub., now you can put the empty bucket away. Doing it this way means you never have to lift a heavy bucket full of water. Spread the clothes out, and turn on the cold shower for 3 or 4 mins to rinse the clothes. Ring out and hang to dry. I use a spring loaded shower curtain rod with 3 or 4 push pins into the wall, not tacks. in a U shape on both walls so the shower rack will not slide down the wall. I use clear push pins so you do not see them. If you put the rod over you head, it will be out of the way when you are not using it. Make sure it is in reach. If you are unsure what a push pin is, just google it. it only washes 1 pair of jeans. DO NOT OVER FILL, you will learn how many clothes to put in. I think this is great for a single person.

Powerful
Wash clothes really good. Powerful if you find the right bucket to use. The only disadvantage is you need to keep and eye on it because vibration will make it move.

Great Portable Washer!
After receiving the product and using it multiple time I am very pleased with it. The washer works better than expected. I put it away for the winter and upon using it for the first time the next spring it didn't work. After contacting the seller they replaced it immediately. Thank you!!!

Great product! Highly recommend
What an amazing washer! Powerful and easy to assemble. In terms of noise, it reminds me of a vacuum cleaner with the whirring / humming. Photo of it beside a Costco sized 7.5 L liquid detergent.

Works pretty good.
Experimented with different size buckets and storage totes and was even able to wash my comforter in a large plastic storage bin. I used a bungee cord to hold it into place because it will lean to one side and then splash water all over the place. The downside is you have to wring the clothes out by hand but for me it beats having to schlep my clothes to the laundromat and pay $8 a load.
