Back story - Iโm not a strap guy by any means. I like my bracelets. I have small wrists and straps just always seem to bother me. However I had received a watch that I absolutely loved, but it was on strap. For some reason, the company thought it was a great idea to use carbon fiber for a strap material. Looks cool. Sounds cool. Feels like sandpaper. So I needed to get a replacemenet. I decided to try one of these Richte seatbelt natos. Fairly inexpensive and looked nice, I figured what the heck. I needed a new strap, and wanted to try a seatbelt NATO, so why not Kill two birds with one stone. And I have to say I am not disappointed. Feel - You would think a seatbelt nato would feel stiff and uncomfortable, when actually, itโs extremely soft and pliable. The material doesnโt feel rigid at all, like some other standard Nato straps Iโve had in the past. I donโt have other seatbelt nato straps to compare these to, but these are super comfortable. Very easy to wear. Build Quality - They appear to be built very well. They donโt feel flimsy or cheap. The hardware feels solid. Doesnโt feel like it gonna break or bend from use. Which is tough to get something that feels like itโs gonna hold up well, but is comfortable as well. Most straps like that are stiff and have a โbreak inโ period. But these appear solid from the start while being comfortable. And doesnโt seem like a strap thatโs gonna fray or fall apart easily. I will say that they are slightly on the thicker side, so if you donโt have any room between your spring bars and the watch case, these may not work. But standard, they should be fine. Appearance - It looks Good! Thereโs many different color schemes. I opted for the Black/Red with black hardware to match the watchi needed the strap for, and personally I think it looks great. One of my biggest concerns was, Will it actually be 22mm and fit properly, or will it be like the last strap I got from a different company and be slightly small and show a gap between the strap and the Lugs. But these are perfect. No gap at all. It looks awesome! Overall - Iโm impressed! Theyโre comfortable. They look great. Theyโre designed well. And they fit properly. I would definitely recommend these straps. Watch Used - Terra Cielo Mare Orienteering- Concrete Dial Review: Finally A Properly Designed Watch Band! - I have a small collection of vintage watches and started looking for watch bands that I could swap out from time to time. I really like the Zulu 5 band style, but gave up on trying to find one that was long enough to lace it properly. I have a 7&1/4" wrist and every one I tried was too short. They need to be approximately 11.5" to fit me. After some trial and error I found these NATO style bands. My criteria is a band that can go from business casual to trail. It has to be attractive, durable and comfortable. This one fits the bill. It's made from quality materials with quality construction. Stitching is nicely done and the material is nicely finished. It is almost silky comfortable on the wrist. In fact, it's one of the most comfortable watch bands that I have ever used. There is just enough slack on the tag end of the band to slip it through both loops without having to fold it and tuck it under the last loop. If you are one of those folks that likes to wear it with the tag end folded, you might be able to do it, but it may take a bit of effort and really isn't needed in my experience. You can identify a quality band pretty quick just by looking at it. If the buckle is pinned on with a spring bar, that's an automatic fail. It's a single point of failure just like the typical two piece watch band. If the buckle prong and band holes are not the same shape i.e round prong/round holes, rectangular prong/rectangular holes, that's an automatic fail. If these do not match, the holes in the band will just stretch out eventually and look bad. Since I've written this review, I've ordered 3 more of these in different colors and will probably order more if/when other patterns become available in the 18mm width. I would certainly purchase this again and recommend it.

If it fits, wear it!
I bought the 22-mm Army-green Ritche military ballistic nylon watch strap, for a large Seiko SRPE93 watch. The strap is beautiful and the quality of construction is superb. However, it does not accommodate the Seiko SRPE93 watch. Whoa! Unlike most other NATO watch straps, the Ritchie strap that I received has a 20-mm shorter distance between the second keeper and the third keeper, so the span between them is too short for the watch to fit properly. Was this a Ritche manufacturing defect or is this normal, for Ritche NATO straps?

Great quality with an equally great price
To begin, this is the second strap that I have purchased from Ritche Watch Bands. The first was a NATO strap (Gray) which I was immediately impressed with and later purchased the Army Green NATO strap. Durability: I have been wearing the watch band on about 6 out of 7 days of the week for the past month or so and have noticed some slight fraying around the end of the strap that I tuck back into the buckle. However, I would still give it 4/5 stars for durability because to deter more fraying, simply running a lighter across the frayed ends will "seal" it right back up. Beyond that, the strap is thick, but not stiff; the buckle is solid and does not bend, and the strap material looks and feels as if it will not tear easily. Aesthetics: Both the gray and green straps that I have ordered look exactly like the photos that Ritche has provided to customers. Both straps also don't appear to fade or become discolored after wear. The heavy silver colored buckle is brushed, but still appears to have a "shine" on it. Comfort: The two products are both extremely comfortable. The strap material does not cause skin irritation or discoloration and while sturdy, the underside of the strap feels somewhat smoother that the exposed side. Overall Impression: I would definitely recommend this product to others. The multitude of colors combined with the quality and price gives this product a worthwhile value.

Use these on several of my watches
I recently purchased the Ritche Military Ballistic Nylon Watch Strap with the Heavy Buckle, and it has exceeded my expectations. The first thing that stood out to me was the quality of the nylon materialโit's tough, durable, and feels like it can withstand anything. Whether I'm out hiking, at the gym, or just going about my day, this strap holds up beautifully. The heavy buckle is a standout feature. Itโs robust and adds a sense of security that I didnโt get with my previous straps. The buckle and keepers are solidly constructed, and the stitching is top-notch, giving the strap a clean, rugged look that complements my watch perfectly. Comfort-wise, this strap is excellent. The nylon is breathable and doesnโt irritate my skin, even during long periods of wear. Itโs easy to adjust, fits securely on my wrist, and doesnโt shift around. Plus, itโs easy to swap out, making it a versatile addition to my watch collection. Overall, the Ritche Military Ballistic Nylon Watch Strap is an outstanding product. If you're looking for a strap that combines durability, style, and comfort, this is the one to get. Highly recommended!

Good Strap, Bad Strap.
First off, depending on how you wear this, it either works or it doesn't. I will describe the two methods and explain. In this review I am referring to the Army Green/Khaki bundle. I have a 7" wrist, which I assume is fairly average. Method 1: This band is built like a "5 ring" strap. The proper way to wear a 5 ring strap is to loop the main strap through both links and then back through the top link (see my pictures). The reason for this is to remove all tension from the main band so if it gets snagged, the spring bars do not have any pressure put on them. There are many topics online that describe the benefits and purpose for this in detail. This is the main reason I bought these straps and this is unfortunately not what they are designed for even though that is what they are styled after. If you wear them this way, there is naturally less band length to work with and I found myself using the very widest/last hole on the band. 1/5 stars since the band length is not designed to match the 5 ring technique that they designed for. The band is uncomfortable using this method but that may be different depending on your wrist. Method 2: This method is how you would wear the band if it was a "Standard Nato" with only 4 rings. In this method, you would simply loop the main strap through the rings and then buckle it (see my pictures). This is how the advertised pictures show the bands, and this way the strap fits as intended. Unfortunately, this defeats the purpose of having the extra ring and makes the band unnecessarily clunky. 4/5 stars since the extra ring doesn't serve a purpose. The band is comfortable this way, but is less safe because of the pressure on the spring bars. In conclusion, if you are looking for a 5 ring band that is functional and will protect your watch, this is NOT the band for you. However, if you are looking for a traditional Nato strap and don't mind the extra ring, then these bands work great. They are comfortable, easy to swap out, and look very nice. The material will take some time to break in and loosen up so keep that in mind. The matte brushed steel is a nice touch and matches my watch very well. I bought this specifically for my Timex Expedition, which I am using as a beater watch for rugged activities. I've added a picture with the Army Green strap, but both colors work very well with the watch. I will be happy to answer any additional questions on my review or the product itself.

Nice, but almost 4 stars
I've been wanted to try a seat belt style band for a while. This one had many color choices and was more reasonably priced than others. I have worn this band for many days which only included mild daily activities like driving, shopping, and typing. After the first day I noticed some slight fraying on the band at the adjustment holes. The fraying made me think this band would not last long, but it didn't get any worse after the first day. I do have a smaller wrist, but the band was too long. If it was a about 1-1.5 cm shorter, I think it would be about perfect. Looking at the stock photos, I thought the hardware looked cheap, but the hardware is good quality and looks much nicer in person. The package comes with the band, extra spring bars, and a spring bar removal tool. Seat belts feel very smooth and comfortable, so I did a side-by-side feel comparison with the seat belt on my car and the watch strap. I was surprised that the watch band was actually smoother than my seat belt! Pros: Feels great - Quality hardware & nice color choices - Price - Extra bars & tool Cons: Frayed around the holes - a little too long. To sum it up, It is a nice watch band at a good price. I went back and forth whether to give it 4 or 5 stars. if the fraying had gotten worse or if it had not come with the extra bars and a tool, it would have definitely been 4 stars. I do recommend this watch band.

PREMIUM STRAP
Really happy with the quality of this strap. All the materials are premium. Most Natos are flimsy with unfinished holes and ends. These are all finished to prevent fraying. This strap is ballistic nylon so it's thicker than most of the others went with black on black and the hardware is sturdy metal. Overall it feels strong and long lasting. Goes really with the Seiko mod..

The metal buckle is gross black than matte black. Good quality strap too.
The nato strap quality is really well build. Didn't know that the bucket isn't matte black. The strap is kinda thick which is a good thing but in my case i am fitting it onto the casio watch which doesn't accept thick strap and i have to forcefully fit in. But overall i am happy with the product.

Nice for the price
I have purchased this to see how much better it is then the cheaper multi packs Ritche does and I must say apart from some fraying I'm very very pleased. It is much softer to the touch and a fair bit thicker which might be a problem if you don't have much space between your case and spring bars. Will be getting a few more in different colours to match my other watches. For a nato it is quite short but I have a skinny wrist so that's ok.
