I was really disappointed with this purchase. After waiting nearly two weeks for it to arrive, I discovered it came with a US plug, so I had to buy an adapter. Even after using the adapter, the item isn't working at all. I wouldn't recommend it based on this experience.

This came in the UK with an American plug attached to the power cord. I replaced it with a UK plug and switched it on and it blew the heating element straight away rendering the item completely useless. Yes I should have instead used a USA to UK plug adapter to counter the 110 US voltage against the 240 UK voltage but I wasn’t aware of that at the time so that’s £100 down the drain.

Stopped working after a 3 or 4 of uses.

After about 6 hours of use the paint start to peel off everywhere. Try to clean it and manage to transfer some colour on my hands. Doesn’t look safe to use in relation with food or that’s for sure.

Changed plug to 3 pin 13amp used for 2 hours all OKWent to use 2 days later light on the on off switch lights up but the element dose no heat up don't now if I can return it because I have Changed the plug

Health issues, paint on the inside started to come off with second use, I will ask for a refund. It should be painted with heat proof paint.

i bought this as a gift as soon as it was plugged in the element blew so is unusable and they don’t do replacement or replacement parts

It works amazing. I no longer have to keep filling the wood chips every 45mins anymore. Plus having the ability to cold smoke is a massive bonus.

Dieser Kalträucherkamin benötigt 110V da es in den USA hergestellt wird. Das habe ich gewusst da ich davon schon 2 in den USA in Einsatz hatte und in D mit Trafo arbeite. Das aber immer noch kein hitzebeständiger Lack verwendet wird finde ich sehr unzureichend und gesundheitsschädlichen. Bereits nach dem ersten Räuchern blättert der Lack im Kamin ab und die Dämpfe legen sich auf dem Rauchgut ab. Ich habe den Lack entfernt um schadfrei zu Räuchern.

This a must for a serious smoker. I just tried it for the first time tonight because I wanted it to burn in after 3 hours it's still pumping nice white smoke with no signs of slowing down. I have the glass door on my smoker and since I turned this thing on you cannot see the racks. I'm smoking a chuck roast tomorrow, so I do want at least 3 good hours of smoke before I wrap the roast for the final 4 hours. Before I got this it was pull out the chip tray once and hour to refill it. It got to the point that I just didn't like smoking meat anymore. Another thing that really impresses me is the cold smoke feature. You don't need you smoker turned on just turn on the cold smoker and let it go. AWESOME! I finished my burn in smoke and probably had enough wood left for another 2 hours minimum.

Works like it should, gave me about 4 hours of good smoke

US Netzteil für 120V, in Deutschland ohne Spannungswandler nicht zu verwenden!Nirgendwo vermerkt, Kundenservice verweist auf den amerikanischen Verkäufer (von dem ich in der Beschreibung auch nichts gesehen habe), und damit ist für Amazon Deutschland die Sache erledigt. Absolute Frechheit!
