If you install this incorrectly, you will have a bad time. The instructions lack detail, but this screen protector can be installed with no issues. This was my process: 1. Clean screen surface 2. Align the screen protector at the top of the phone, exactly below the top speaker grill; make sure there is no space between the grill and the screen protector. If you don't do this, the protector will be prone to popping off completely on impact. 3. Apply the protector to the screen from the top (starting at the speaker grill) to the bottom slowly. Ideally, press on the screen with the included wedge as you go down. 4. If you notice a lack of sensitivity on some areas, CAREFULLY use a hairdryer to heat the adhesive while spudging the screen. If you do all of these things, the screen will function without issue. This protector is smooth and strong, but must be installed correctly.

Was easy to install. Did not even have to take off case before putting on. Leaving the case on actually made it easy to center on the the screen. The alcohol wipes cleaned properly before putting on. I do have a minor problem with part of the touch screen working, but is it better to protect the screen, or have a minor problem with the touch screen working with a light touch? The fingerprint reader works the same as if there was no protector on.

pros- finger print scanner works surprisingly well, very smooth, feels almost as good as the actually screen cons-very little adhesive (but surprisingly it stayed on even after dropping the phone) overall i would recommend tempered glass to anyone who has a one plus 7 pro

meaning there's essentially a air gap between the protector and the screen instead of being a full adhesive protector. completely garbage, super disappointed in supershieldz they totally just went lazy with this device by only adhering the edges, in which causes air gaps even when applied correctly and took peoples money for a completely garbage product that for sure diminishes touch sensitivity and it feels like you have a cheep plastic protector that "gives" way to your touch making it practically unusable. wish I could get my money back outta this product because its a huge waste of my cash

I think this is my 3rd or 4th purchase of these super shieldz 2-pack for my one plus 7pro phone. I'm pretty protective of how I handle and safe keep my phone but about once every 6 months it flys out of my hand or pocket and lands on a rock or concrete. The glass protector cracks or crushes but my screen is good as new! They fit great with no air bubbles and my finger print opens my phone no problem. Highly recommend this brand! Price is good too!! Just buy some

I tried to give this a shot. I even tried a brand new install thinking I botched the first one. I'm not sure how I would, one of the positives is the install for this protector is pretty dead simple. Just align and apply pressure. But the way this protector works has a massive flaw: The adhesive is only on the edges, it "floats" above the screen everywhere else. This can cause huge touch sensitivity issues that require you to press your finger harder on the screen for it to register your touch. Going from having just a finger present to going back to hard presses is almost impossible for my brain to retrain to do. It makes typing incredibly difficult, there are phantom touches, and I find myself having to press multiple times in order for a touch to register. I ended up ripping the thing off in frustration at the end of it all. Plus the screen can lift itself in certain places that will allow dust or lint to enter below the screen, forever trapped until you rip the thing off. This happened as well. I don't fault the maker, getting a true tempered glass screen on a curved display is hard. But if this is the outcome of doing it then I'm hard passing. Stick to film screens or another implementation.

So the colors look great with glass instead of TPU. But unfortunately the glue is not enough to keep it in place. The round edges of the phone makes it harder to align it properly. So, when you use a hard case for protection, your bound to pop the screen protector off. Be Gentle when you remove it. Here's the best thing to do: Set your background for the lock screen to a gray color. It will allow you to see the icons and speaker better so that you don't cover them with the glass. Set the display timeout to at least 5 or 10 minutes. Of course during placement, you have to turn the phone on, but you don't have to unlock it. Follow the instructions, and try as best as you can to align it below the top speaker and that the edges are leaving the same amount of space on both sides. If you fail take off, and try again. Pay close attention to dust, because every time you remove it, dust can land on the phone screen. And be careful with every alignment, because dust can be trapped on the glue inside the glass. You can't remove that dust, you just smudge the inside. And my best tip: when you got it set, use a blow dryer hot air and heat up the glass. The point is to get the glue to soften. And have a clean cloth ready to press down on all areas of the glass. Heat it up again if you have to and repeat the process. You might have to repeat the heating process in a week or 2. Make sure the glass doesn't move off, so be careful in the way you press it down. Put pressure on the edges as well, while holding the screen protector down with your fingers, do half the screen first and then the other half The glass and glue separation from the phone screen makes a little cracking. Heat up those areas or the entire screen again and press down. Good luck 🤞

I never write reviews but this was a must. Very easy installation! I don't have issues with finger print. I definitely feel like there's a slight reduction in sensitivity but barely noticable at all. There are some small dots that come bc if manufacturing if you look closely at the screen but that doesn't affect touch and you can't see it when you use the phone. ***FINGER PRINT ISSUE some people were having** RE-ADD your finger prints should solve the finger print issue. Whenever I install a screen protector I do that anyways. Definitely didn't recognize my fingers but after re-adding them I had no problems. **INSTALL slant your screen at a slight angle and place your glass screen down. Then make sure it's even and press down (gently) from one side to another to remove any bubbles the instructions could be better but I didn't need them as this isn't my first time. *Bonus tip to install perfectly. :) Use the original phone case that comes with the phone as the guide so that it sits in place perfectly and doesnt interfere with case. Can't speak about the protection as I just installed it but, I would definitely buy this again!! It comes in a 2 pack so it's already a steal! I'm glad I brought this one and I wish they started selling this sooner!! The first one I brought (diff company) I had to mess with UV stuff (super messy and stinky) and risk having to ruin/ clog up the speakers above the screen(not fun and probably poisoned myself) Thank God I was able to clean it up but, some others weren't so lucky. I wouldn't recommend uv one sold by the other seller.
