Maxwell House Decaffeinated Original Ground Coffee

Classic, budget-friendly coffee with a smooth but mild flavor. Easy to drink, not bitter, and consistent, but it doesn’t bring much boldness or complexity. Nice and strong, delicious aroma and strength. Best for people who just want a simple cup without caffeine jitters.

I have always loved Maxwell House coffee. When I had to switch to decaf (doctor's orders) I checked out some other brands and I found that this product on Amazon was the real thing and it was less expensive than any other name brand (Folgers, Hills Bros, Chase & Sanborn) for the same size container. Oh, and the container? Plastic with a mylar inner seal which keeps the coffee very fresh. Also, I find many other uses for these plastic containers after they are empty (for people, like myself, who are concerned about plastics and the environment), like for holding utensils, planters, storing other dry goods to keep them fresh. Even after opening, the cover seals well for freshness and keeps most vermin out. Mice will chew through it, but moths or roaches can't breach it.

Good Value, good coffee to satisfy that coffee addiction

This decaf coffee has a smooth, rich flavor without the bitterness you sometimes get with decaf. It brews consistently well and still gives you that classic coffee taste without the caffeine, making it perfect for evenings or multiple cups throughout the day. The aroma is great and it doesn’t feel watered down like some other brands. Overall, a solid choice if you want good coffee without the jitters. Definitely keeping this stocked.

Caffeine-free was suggested from friends and made the decision to give it a try. I like it. The taste is good, it is warm and calming before I get ready to start a new day.

I have been outraged at the price of decaf coffee--the only kind I'm able/allowed to drink--in grocery stores. Maxwell House is my preferred brand, but I'd had to settle for whatever is on sale. There are a lot of lousy coffees out there! I'm so glad I found Maxwell House here, and in the big canister, too, for such a great price: almost half of what I'd have to pay in the store. I've always said that real coffee lovers drink decaf--we don't do it for the jolt. Maxwell House is a very good commercial decaf with a smooth taste and terrific aroma. At this price, I bought enough to stock a pantry shelf.
