OMG: Why Oh Why Did I Not Try This To Begin!!!!
After trying countless chemical drain cleaners, because the previous owners of our house glued the entire sink trap together making disassembly impossible, I recently thought what about a baby’s bottle brush on a long flexible shaft. And guess what, Amazon has it. I followed the simple directions of start running hot water and slowly feed it into the drain with an up and down stroke. While doing this the sink continued to fill as usual. Within about 1 minute, the sink all of a sudden drained. Whatever had been blocking the flow and was resilient to countless chemicals cleared. I then spent another 2 minutes repeating the whole procedure to ensure the pipe insides were fully scrubbed. Carefully withdrew it from the drain to prevent being splashed with an unknown goo and found the brush essentially clean. I rinsed it off, put it back in the bag, and told the wife Mission Accomplished. She was utterly amazed it was that easy and quick. We have been fighting this slow drain for years and in a handful of minutes it’s fixed for good. Well worth the ~$12 investment and couple of minutes of your time. You’ll spend way more than that on chemical solutions that may or may not work. If only I had known something like this existed years ago, I would have saved so much chemical compound money and worry about a sink overflowing. I don’t do this because often, if ever, but I highly recommend everyone buy one now for any current or potential future issues. It is kind of like keeping a good flashlight in the house should the power go out. You may never need it, but if you do it’s there. A kind of cheap insurance policy, so to speak.

Makes drain cleaning a cinch!
Our drains were getting slow and, therefore, a bit stinky. I hate using caustic products like Draino if I don't have to, so the idea of a cleaning brush appealed to me. This brush did the trick beautifully (and for me, did a MUCH better job than any drain cleaning liquid/foam/whatever, that I've used in the past). It was so easy...dare I say...fun? It slipped down the vanity drains in the bathroom lickety-split as I ran hot water and worked it up and down as I fed it along the length of pipe to scrub the sides down of muck. Not a huge mess to clean up once I slipped it out of the drain either. I was able to sneak it through the grate on my kitchen drain (although probably not something I should do twice or I might lose the brush head), but it cleaned that beautifully too! I had a bunch of cat hair that hung things up after bathing the cat and forgetting to put a catch-screen in the drain. Because of the drain grate being narrow, I used one of those long drain-cleaning strips of plastic with the keyed teeth on the sides (that's a separate product that doesn't come with this one; mine was from Lowe's or Home Depot). This slid all that mucky hair out with ease, and now my drain is flowing with no issues and is clean as a whistle! I highly recommend this Brushtech brush to any homeowner—I only wish I'd bought one years ago! It's durable enough that I think it will last a long time.

Pretty good
I use this to clean out slow drains and it works well. It IS extra long, which helps clean more of the drain. It does its job well. The only thing I wish is that they put more bristles on it. There's only about an inch or maybe 2 of them. It would get 5 stars if it was more like 3 or 4 inches to scrub the pipe better. Or even if they had the same length but just more of them (denser). But I think it is still pretty good.

Wow!
After trying various liquid drain cleaners in a slow bathroom sink drain over the past year+, I finally decided to try something like this. Absolutely amazing! Took less than 3 minutes of minimal effort to snake the tool through the drain assembly and it would seem that the major clog must have been just after the drain entered the wall. I met some pretty good resistance there and I just kept holding pressure down while trying to twist it a bit back and forth. As to be expected, I had to fight the spring wanting to give a bit while applying force but when it finally broke through, that was it! I had the water running slowly while using the tool and the sink had been getting close to full and as soon as that clog broke free it drained in seconds! After taking a few minutes to appreciate just how quickly and easily this tool did the job, I went around and did all the other bathroom sink drains too, just for fun! It actually pulled a bit of hair out of one drain, even though it had been working mostly fine. I'll never bother with liquid drain cleaners again, for sure. I should have bought something like this years ago!

Not great, but did the job.
The brush is not as big as it probably needs to be and it was smashed on one side when it arrived, making it more difficult to scrub with, but at the end of the day it worked. If it had a larger brush head and arrived without the brush being partially smashed, it could be a four or five star item. By the other reviews, it appears that this is a consistent issue with this item.

Excellent Bathroom Sink Drain Brush
This product performed much better than expected. Some reviewers had issues getting the brush past pipe bends but I found this brush to be perfect for the job. Inserting any flexible drain tool into a pipe and past 'P' traps and elbows requires finesse. Generally, you can't just push it straight through. And it's not intended for clearing clogged/plugged drains. My drains, like most descend into a 'P' trap and then into a 90 degree elbow before entering the wall. Gunk can collect on the inner walls all along this path. I was able to insert all 48 inches of this tool into my drains. I first inserted the tool until I felt the first 'obstruction' or pipe bend. I then began applying pressure, then rotating the wire clockwise about 90 degrees and continuing to increase the pressure. The bristles occupy just one half of the head which facilitates getting it around the bends. Once the tool was fully in the pipe I began short push-pull movements while rotating the handle to scrub the walls. I kept hot water flowing while scrubbing. I slowly worked the tool back out of the drain a few inches at a time. When the tool was out of the drain I found a small amount of hair and debris in the bristles but most material had been flushed away. One final thought. For decades bathroom sink drains have used stoppers activated by a rod near or in the fixture. This design is great for catching hair because a portion of the activation rod is in the drain pipe just below the sink. I retrofitted my drains with pop up stoppers. With this style stopper, the drain tube connecting to the bottom of the sink is replaced with a new tube that is smooth walled with no stopper rod inside. My drains no longer snag hair. I just periodically clean the gunk build up.

The little snake that could
I had a bathtub that just refused to drain quickly since we moved into the house. Drano couldn't get it because it drained, but very slowly. And two different plumbers said we had serious issues, but couldn't fix it either. I used a boroscope to look down the drain, but once I hit water I couldn't see jack squat. So I jammed this little sucker down there and when it hit a blockage I just twisted and twisted like I was trying to drill into it and then pulled it out and attached to the end was a huge clump of nasty hair and black goo. So I ran it down there several more times until it started coming back clean. I put everything back together and now the tub drains reasonably well. It used to take 15 minutes to empty a full tub, now it takes about a minute. I am really impressed with this little guy. It's cheap, simple, durable, and effective. I just wish the bristles were a little stiffer and would love it if they had another model that was about 1/2" bigger around.

Flexible enough for most (but not all) drains
Bought this to clear AC condensate drain line (tried to blow it out, but that didn't work). Works well on straight runs, easy curves, or single 90-degree turns. Not flexible enough to get all the way through the 180-degree tight turn of the trap in this small-diameter AC drain line. Probably is flexible enough to navigate the trap on larger-diameter drain lines, like a sink drain, which seems to be the intended use based on the package picture. So, good for most drains. But if you need to clear the whole trap on a small-diameter AC drain you'll need to try something more flexible.

Very Handy
Had some cleaning to do and this tool was perfect for it. Easy to use and very effective, cleaned out a lot of gunk which was eye opening. Would recommend, just check your length that you require.

It Did The Job.
I recently purchased the Brushtech Extra Long Super Flexible Drain Brush, 48-Inch, and I'm absolutely thrilled with the results it delivered! The extra-long and super-flexible design allowed me to reach deep into the drain without any hassle, ensuring a thorough clean. The bristles were tough enough to tackle stubborn grime yet gentle on the pipes, which gave me peace of mind. Thanks to this amazing brush, my bathroom drain is now sparkling clean and free-flowing. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an effective and hassle-free drain cleaning solution!

Larger style pipe cleaner
Bought this item because I have a kitchen sink (with a garburator) on an island. The island also has a dishwasher and has vent cheater. (so I don’t feel the drain flow is as good as it should be). Anyway when the dishwasher was draining it was starting to back up into the sink and the vent cheater was making a vibrating noise. I took the trap apart underneath the sink and used this pipe cleaner to clean out the lines. Everything is now working perfectly!! The only thing that would have made this a perfect product would be an even larger cleaning head and slightly stronger bristle. Otherwise it did do the job.
