Works from the 1st day
I adopted a stray kitten 11 years ago and he came with constant sneezing and one eye that is always crusty. I had him test by 3 different Vets for respiratory illnesses or other reasons and it is just allergies (maybe he's allergic to humans, LOL.) So for years I've been wiping snot off windows and trying different meds and supplements. So far this has been the best, by far. The first day I tired it he didn't sneeze at all! That was a miracle. Over the weeks he has sneezed occasionally, likely due to seasonal issues (just like me) but this is easy for me to give him (just put s few drops in his mouth) and it works pretty well. My cat has dry food and a water fountain so I don't add to that, but he gets his first dose with his soft treat in the morning, the rest of the day I just put a couple drops in his mouth, he doesn't seem to mind and it doesn't really have an odor or taste that I can tell. Try it, it might work well for you too!

Happy Tummy = Happy Kitty
I was skeptical at first, but these drops really work! Our kitty suffered from years of chronic vomiting. We tried many different foods, thinking she had an allergy, but the vomiting persisted. We fed her smaller portions throughout the day, thinking she was eating too fast, but nothing changed. We tried raising her bowl, thinking she wasn't digesting properly. Nope. After several rounds at the vet, we finally concluded she had anxiety. Enter Happy Tummy. Our vet had recommended a different anti-anxiety product in pill form that we never tried, mainly because the cat doesn't like wet food and the pills would be hard to give her any other way. These drops seemed like an easier and healthier solution. And they were! The cat loves the ritual of having us apply them to her back and it really does make her chill out! Do not expect overnight results for the tummy troubles, though. It took several months of 3x/daily application before we noticed a difference, and now it's very rare she ever vomits. She's down to getting the drops 1x/day and sometimes not at all. The bottle lasts forever, too. We're still on the first one after 5 months. Highly recommend this product!

My cat's allergy has gotten worst each year and I wanted to try this product
This product works to a certain extent. It won't cure anything, obviously, or make your pet's allergy or asthma go away completely... they will still suffer from the same symptoms. Don't have the expectation that they will be 100% symptom free! My cat's allergy has gotten worst each year and I wanted to try this product. The nice thing about it is that it does alleviate his allergy symptoms. Usually, his left eye gets watery and becomes half-shut when he has allergies. When I put drops of this in his fur, his eye will clear up immediately. Unfortunately, it doesn't get rid of his wheezing completely but when I give him the drops regularly, the wheezing becomes less and less. Some days, it even stops and gives him some relief! I do recommend this product if you just want to help your pets' symptoms clear up a bit. It's equivalent to humans taking a mild anti-allergy supplement.

Just didn't work for us.
This unfortunately did not work for our 1 and a half year old nuetered male. He continued to aggressively attack our spayed female. We have 7 rescues we have had for several years and we have had him since he was 2 months old. We love all of them. The only thing I can figure is this female is the only one one that is not submissive to him. Occasionally some of the others may get in to it with him. I was just so hopeful this would work. We have tried the diffusers and calming treats along with separating and resorting to the I know not a responsible response but the water bottle sprayer. I work full-time and I am exhausted. This demon cats actions has caused the female to urinate in places other than the litter box due to fear of being attacked. My husband is home all day and intervenes when he can.

Works...kind of.
My one year old cat has never been a big fan of thunderstorms. She panics and hides until well after the storm passes. She crouches under the treadmill and we can't even bribe her with her favorite toys to get her to come out. Her anxiety level went through the roof this past May when we had a hail storm. I have tried "calming" treats, play distraction, turning on music to drown out the noise of the storm, etc. Nothing really works. And I've never been thrilled about keeping those plug ins plugged into my outlets that supposedly work for this problem. I worry about fires from plug ins as I've known this to happen. But I hate knowing how stressed she is. Out of desperation I decided to give this product a try. I've since used it numerous times. First of all, the key is to apply it to your cat BEFORE a storm pops up. So as soon as the sky starts looking stormy, I drop a few drops onto my hand and start applying it to my cat's back by petting her. Then I repeat the process so that a total of 5 or 6 drops has been rubbed in to her fur. I will sometimes rub some onto her cat tree as well since she loves hanging out there. And here's what happens...instead of immediately running and hiding once the storm starts, she goes into full alert mode. She'll stay like this for a little bit until the storm gets too loud and rumbling. Then she bolts per usual. BUT when she has the Stress Stopper on her, she can easily be coaxed out of hiding and if I keep her somewhat distracted, she does pretty well as far as not retreating back to her hidey hole. Does it work? Kind of. Is she LESS stressed? Yes! It's not the magical cure that I was hoping for, but it does seem to make a difference for sure. So just because of that, I will continue to use it. I feel as if this product really depends on the individual cat in my honest opinion.

It does what it says.
I honestly think this stuff works. I have 8 cats in a small home. My og baby girl hates the other cats but I feel this stuff really helps her relax and gives her confidence to run them off herself instead of needing me or her daddy to bust heads. So thank you very much! Iโve tried so many things but this has really helped!

What a HUGE change!
I admit, I was skeptical. Iโve been a fan of Jackson Galaxy for years and have used many of his tips and methods throughout my catsโ lives to great success. So I trust the name on the bottle. And now after having tried it on my cats, I trust the contents of the bottle, as well. I found Zonda and Carrera as 4 week old kittens, the only two survivors of the litter after mom abandoned them (or was killed by coyotes) during the summer heat. Zonda has always been outgoing and gregarious and Carrera has always been withdrawn and shy. They never fight, but there have always been distinct territorial boundaries for each cat, which only became more pronounced when we moved into a 29โ travel trailer full-time. Carrera stopped using the litter box to pee in, and started peeing on any little bit of carpet we have, focusing primarily on the area underneath the dinette table - gross. We knew she had a clean bill of health from the vet, but after months of trying different litter, litter box locations (limited options in a trailer), and anti-marking treatments, and still not having any success, an old episode of MCFH reminded me of these remedies (which used to be called Spirit Essences). I went back and forth abut which one might be appropriate for Carrera, and settled on Safe Space for Cats due to her general timid nature - I could see how most of her issues might stem from insecurity. Before starting the treatment, I (once again) deep cleaned and enzyme treated every area sheโs peed in and Iโve been following the directions carefully and focusing primarily on Carrera, not giving Zonda any direct dosages (believe me, she has no shortage of confidence). The first thing I noticed was that weโve only had one accident since beginning the treatments, and ZERO since the first two days (now more than two weeks in). The second change we noticed is an increase in her comfort level at the food bowl, where before she would eat a little bit here and there, then run off and leave Zonda to finish most of her food, now she eats at a pace rivaling Zondaโs and rarely leaves food in the bowl for her sister to finish. Third, we had a friend come over several times (he has previously cared for the cats while weโve been away, and even then has never seen more than a fleeting glimpse of Carrera). Before starting the treatment, Carrera would hide in the bedroom and not come out until well after he had left. The first time our friend came over after starting the treatment, about two days in, Carrera came out of the bedroom almost as soon as he left. The second time, a week later, Carrera still spent time napping in our bedroom, but after that she come out while he was still here, she actually ATE in front of him AND approached him close enough to smell his hand, then settled down on the dinette seat facing him across the room and went to sleep. That is a MASSIVE increase in confidence and comfort for her - completely unprecedented! Weโve also seen her sitting up in places where we have only ever seen Zonda before - on the shelf by the window, on the back of the couch, etc. (sheโs the typical โbush catโ personality, so up is not usually a direction she goes). In general, now most of the typical โcat spotsโ are shared between both cats, rather than being claimed by one cat or the other. All in all, we have seen positive behaviors develop in the last two weeks that we have NEVER seen over seven years of having these two sisters. The fact that Carrera is now territorially comfortable enough to not mark, sit in the windows and in prime spots, eat happily, and interact with strangers is honestly behavior we were convinced weโd never see from her. Incredible experience so far!

Not for my cat
I've had Spirit Essences Stress Stopper for quite a while now. I bought it April 28, 2016, in preparation for family and friends that would be coming over for my son's high school graduation. My cat is prone to stress, so I wanted anything I could think of to try and help her. I'm a huge fan of Jackson Galaxy and use a lot of his techniques and recommendations with my cat, Lady. I had been debating getting the Stress Stopper Spirit Essences for probably six months, as Lady is also quite sensitive to scents. Finally, I just took the plunge and ordered. I tried using a couple drops in her water dish, as suggested. She refused to drink out of her water dish. Even after emptying the dish, scrubbing it out and washing it, she still refused to drink. For two days, Lady refused to drink any water from her dish. Of course, this caused immediate concern for me. Several washings later and she still wouldn't drink from her water dish. I ended up buying her a NEW water dish and then she started drinking it again. Ok, so I figured maybe the drops in her water wasn't a good idea for her. I figured I would try rubbing some in my hands and petting her, to see if that would work. Every night, she comes to snuggle with me in bed, so I tap the bottle on my palm a couple of times (as per the directions), put a couple drops in my palm, rub my hands together and start to pet her, as I do every single night. She took off like a snake had bit her and would not come near me for almost three days afterwards! I had really hoped this would work for Lady, but it is a definite no go!

STOP FUR MOWING IN ITS TRACKS
Bought this thinking: Man, it would be nice if it worked, but was prepared for it not to. IT WORKS. Cat belly and inner thighs were mowed down to nothing, even sores/scratches started showing up. I needed to help my fur baby. Was she bored and over-grooming? Yes. She is 13 years and it has only gotten to be an issue in the last year. No pills/medications for her. I wanted something more holistic. This was it. Don't waste by putting it in water. Just put 5-ish drops onto you palm, or right onto cat. Rub it gently over area that's being obsessed over. Rub hands over their head and cheeks too, and down the body with whatever's left. It should just be like you're petting your cat. BE SURE TO AGITATE the bottle before using dropper to mix it before use. It really does not smell like anything (to us). Within a day or two was already seeing a reduction in time she was interested in chewing her body. I started with 3x day (morning, dinner and before bed) and have now decreased to 2x day with same results. Been using it only for under 1 month. She still 'bathes' especially after meals, but spends a substantially declined amount of time on her obsessed areas as she used to. Unreal. What would be nice though, if the price was less - especially living in Canada - shipping is brutal.

Doesn't work
Just does not work. My Maine Coon is just as bad as he ever was, despite my following the instructions to the letter. Expensive and not worth the money.

Looks like it worked
My cat started over grooming and created a Buddha belly with no hair. We had a baby and possible this was the reason that our already neurotic furbaby gone over the edge. It said to apply 4 times a day. We put the drops twice a day into her food and then twice when she comes for a little fuss we brush it into her fur. She def got better. ..not sure if it was the drops or that the home situation settled and she realised that the screaming mini human is not out to get her. But it's now a few weeks and there is fluffy hair back on her belly. So I will keep on using the drops and may try to reduce it slowly and see what happens
