Which eye hole handle works best for the 2e-g60 grub hoe? i noticed there is more than one choice. A long handle is preferred.

I bought the DG-AEH (Seymour Item: 63009) long 1 ¾ inch handle to fit the Seymour 2E-G60 Grub Hoe Head with a 1 ¾ inch eye. It almost worked. The handle was slightly too narrow and the head slides about ¼ inch beyond the end of the handle. This will get worse with time I measured these two things to see what was wrong. The head's eye tapers from 1 11/16 inch down to 1 ⅝ inch. The working end of the handle has a diameter of 1 ⅝ inch. My conclusion: The handle is defective. If it was 1 ¾ inch as described on the manufacturer's website, it would be perfect. I wonder if the seller or manufacturer would consider sending me a new correct diameter handle? Otherwise this tool will never get used.

What is the length and width?

The blade on my Seymour 2E-60 Grub Hoe Head measures about 4- 7/16" wide and about 6- 3/8" long. The length was measured from the end of the blade to the underside of the handle ring. Hope this helps!
