When looking for athletic shorts I have three basic requirements: 1- they must be lightweight, 2- they must have pockets, and 3- they must settle near my knees. These shorts meet all of them perfectly! Here are the highlights: LIGHTWEIGHT: I primarily use these shorts for running, so a lightweight fabric is a must. This has become especially important to me since, what with COVID19-related-closures, I can't go to my gym anymore and need to run outside in the summer heat. These shorts ended up being just what I needed. They're comprised of two mesh layers placed on top of each other and are incredibly breathable. POCKETS: I also sometimes use my exercise shorts as pajama bottoms or to just lounge around the house, so having pockets is also a must! The pockets in these pants are deep and well-padded, with more than enough space to hold my phone, headphones, wallet, and/or anything else I need. KNEE-LENGTH: While I love running, I've never gotten used to "runners' shorts" that come up too far above my knees. I was a little worried that these shorts would be long enough for me (I'm 6'3"), but they ended up being the perfect length! They reach my knees perfectly (see picture) and look/feel comfortable whether I'm standing up or sitting down. All in all, I couldn't be more pleased with these shorts and will purchase more when I need them. Enjoy!

I'm giving this 4 stars for the simple fact that I've had a little difficulty with sizing - I normally prefer my gym shorts to be a size large, so initially ordered a few pairs of these in large and found that they slid off while jogging, even when cinched. Mind you, dropping down a size always feels good, but I was a little surprised. I then purchased a few pairs in medium (for the price, I figured having a bunch would be good, as I wear a different pair each day while working out). The medium, to my surprise, still slides down pretty easily too, even when cinched. Part of this is because of the material - they're a very smooth mesh - and I wear compression shorts underneath, so the combination of the 2 makes them easy to slide down. Not really a huge issue, but I've had other gym shorts that stayed in place a little better. That being said, I'm overall very happy with these - just be prepared to buy your true size rather than sizing up or you might have a similar issue. A big pro to these - they feel great! The material is very light and doesn't feel bulky while working out, unlike other mesh shorts I've owned over the years. The don't restrict range of motion at all and are very comfortable! Also, I like mine to be a bit longer which is what initially drew me to making a purchase - I stand about 5'11" tall and these fall to mid-knee for me, which is right where I want them. That is a huge selling point for me! One word of caution with the white - they're basically see-through. I love the look of them, but if you plan on wearing them to the gym or outside for a jog, be forewarned. You can see the tie string right through them and tell what color of underwear you're wearing without even needing backlighting... so depending on your choice of undergarments these can be a little shocking depending on when/where you wear them and what you wear them with.

Very comfy shorts

I bought two pair, navy & black color, 3 xlt. The black one has a pant liner and a tighter fit, the navy one doesn’t have a pant liner and a much looser fit. The quality is good, they’re lightweight and I only wear them around the house so I’ll keep them. Why the difference in fit and structure when I’m buying the same size?!

Five-star review, but let me get some of the downsides out of the way for those who might consider these downsides: 1) They are mesh gym shorts. Because of that, they do have a little bit of a see-through effect. So don't be surprised if you buy the white ones and you go out wearing them and people can tell what color underwear you're wearing. (Protip: Wear underwear.) 2) I've bought these in multiple colors. They are all true-to-size, excepting that the default "athletic gray" one seems to fit a little more snugly. (It also doesn't have the little split on the side of the leg, which makes me wonder if I was delivered the wrong thing on that particular purchase; who knows?) So caveat emptor on the athletic-gray color. But the rest fit great. 3) A couple of the colors on these may not look exactly like they do on your computer or phone screen, but for my taste they are even better. The Swiss Blue looks like a nice cheery blue without looking faded. The Team Gold looks like a rich golden color without being either faded or bright as a disco ball. That said: These are great. They are comfy. They are great for working out. They are great for lazing around eating potato chips on the couch. And they are great for doing Zoom calls so you can go casual out of sight while you're wearing a shirt and tie up top. I'm the kind of guy who, when I'm at home, likes to wear clothes that I don't have to think about and say to myself, "Oh, yeah, I'm wearing clothes." These pretty much hit the mark on that. These are now long-term fixtures of my stay-at-home wardrobe. FYI: The inseam on these goes just past my knees. For care: Just make sure you don't put these in the dryer too long or too hot. Consider putting them in the dryer on low, and then if they're still a little damp, hanging them to air dry the rest of the way.

Every now and then, I cheap out because name brands do tend to cost a little more. Then you get a pair of shorts like these are you realize why they cost a little more. So worth it. These are comfortable and breathable. Excellent product, and fits so well (I am a big guy).

Best quality I've seen for the money by a long way. These are as perfect for playing Ball. I ordered 2 more pairs as soon as the 1st pair arrived. I saw similar products are over $100 retail and arguably not as good quality. Thank you to the seller for the great quality shorts and fast shipping. PS I am confident in spotting knock offs and these appear to be legit made by Hanes Brand who own Champion, just fyi.
