Outstanding - nuff said!
I was genuinely impressed by this company and the product supplied. Not only was the battery in tip top condition, well packaged and pristine, there was also literature on how to contact NinjaBatt (in case of problems) including discounts for future purchases, safety advice ect etc.I rate NinjaBatt based on previous experience. I operate a vintage Dell N5110 Inspiron - it is 10 years old. When the original battery failed a couple of years ago, I contacted Dell who, due to the age of the machine, directed me to a 3rd party to buy a replacement battery. At vast expense, as it was a "Dell" OEM, it arrived and was US. I had to use Nirsoft software to prove it was duff, send it back and, eventually, a new battery arrived - this took about 3 weeks and a lot of hassle! The NinjaBatt was considerably cheaper than the Dell OEM and has all the necessary safety devices fitted. It is a tad more expensive than similar products on Amazon but was right first time and safe to use.I would use this company again with no hesitation and strongly recommend their products.

This battery works well - much cheaper than the Dell original
Good battery which works well in my Dell Inspiron laptop. Take care not to let it run down too low 'though - when there is too little charge left in it, Windows won't recognise it's there, and it's a complete faff to get it to show as working once it's re-charged (although it still does - just doesn't show on the screen) This is not a problem with the battery, just the software.

Works for N7110
After some perusal I chose this battery for my Dell N7110. Having used it for about a month now, the battery life is fairly good. The only downside is that periodically, the computer's battery indicator light will flash orange repeatedly, and I think this is because the computer somehow detects that it is not an original battery being used. When this happens the computer also refuses to charge the battery. All is not lost however as removing the charging cable, shutting it down, and then reinserting the charging cable a few seconds after turning it on again will most times resolve the problem. This only occurs about once a week.Overall, I am pleased despite the niggle above.

Decent value for money and as a non-OEM part, it fit like a glove
The shape of the battery is slightly thicker in this non-OEM part, but that is used to a good effect, as it angles the keyboard, ever so slightly up, at the back, probably no more than 5mm(ish!) and so I wasn't too fussed about that.I had read reviews about other batteries not fitting well and discarded those from my purchase plan, settling for this battery that had positive reviews that I found to be accurate and beneficial. The battery came partially charged (to about 80%) and it didn't take long to get that to 100% before I started using it. From there I used my laptop for about 60-70 minutes and when I checked it before shutting down, it was at 94% with a suggested 8 more hours of use.I appreciate that new battery cells hold their charge for longer than the OEM one I'd had for about 6-7 years (Dell's battery, REALLY lasted well, in my opinion) and time will tell if this remains to be a solid purchase.Worthy of your consideration and a strong 5 stars at the start.

fitted and battery life is fine

Good replacement
Works as it should, you have to be careful when inserting it as it's a tight fit but after that it worked perfectly. How long for and how well? Only time will tell.

Unusable and unreturnable
I bought this battery for a Dell laptop for which the product description said it was suitable, but when it was delivered, it turned out to be incompatible. Delivery in the UK of unconnected lithium ion batteries is subject to legal restrictions, so none of the usual courier or postal services were willing to accept it for return. The Amazon help service agent was completely unhelpful and unsympathetic, only suggesting that I return it in an unmarked box and hope that nobody asked what it was. I have therefore paid for a product which is of no use to me (because the Amazon product description was wrong), and have no way of obtaining a refund (because Amazon are unable provide a return service or to tell me how to find one).

Easy swap
I ordered this as a replacement for a dead battery in my ancient (12 year old) Dell laptop. Took out the old battery, inserted the new one. Booted up. Worked first time, no issues. Only four stars because I don't know how well the NinjaBatt will last yet.Why can't all gadgets be repaired so easily? I have a newer Dell laptop, but the battery is built in - you have to undo umpteen screws just to get access, let alone swap anything out.

Dell 15r Inspiron (N5110) Battery
The battery appears to be of good quality and fits well like the original oem battery. I have used for 2 weeks on and off. Everything is working well so far. Fully charges and hold a good charge. Tip: to calibrate battery, I initially fully charged this battery and left the charger connected for an additional hour. I then used my laptop on battery power (ac power off) until the low battery warning. Then fully charge the battery and use normally. Keep in mind there are other factors that affect battery life, such as a fan on high all the time, due to overheating (clean cpu fan and reapply thermal paste) or screen at maximum brightness. Really happy with purchase.

Weird way to make it work on my Dell 7110
I got one of these a couple years ago for my 7110 and I always thought it was defective or incompatible with my Dell 7110 because it wouldn't charge. What would happen is that the battery light would alternately flash orange and white and the laptop wouldn't charge. So I figured I'd try another one so I ordered a new one and plopped it in and same behavior - no charge and wildly flashing battery light.I thought great my old 7110 is done and I need a new laptop. But before committing to a new laptop, I did some searching on this flashing light issue. Some folks said it was the power adapter but the bios recognized it as a 90w adapter. Others said it was the power jack - gets broken somehow. Others said it was Windows software, etc, etc... Somehow I stumbled across a Dell troubleshooting site and a person had posted a fix that corrected this issue on their 7110 - so I thought what have I got to lose (this only applies to the 7110 afaik so don't try this on other Dells and if you do, it's all on you!!!):Boot up Windows normally with AC adapter plugged in.While Windows is booted - remove the battery pack - yes - remove the battery pack while windows is running. Just take it out...do it! Windows continues to run but it will indicate that the battery is missing.Open Device Manager and click on the Batteries entry: Delete the AC adapter and the compliant batter y entries. Uninstall them completely.Reboot with the battery pack still out of the laptop and get to the Windows desktop. At this point the battery light should be out completely and there will be an X in the battery icon on the task bar. Now reinsert the battery pack - yes - put the battery back in the while Windows is running. Some things will happen.Reboot.When my 7110 came back up, the battery started charging and the light was a solid white while the battery charged. No orange/amber light was seen and it fully charged the new pack from 80% (out of the box) to 100% in about 30 minutes. So with all that said and done, I have two battery packs and a working laptop. These lithium packs are nice and pretty solid so I give them a 5. They fit without drama and seem to charge fast and hold a charge longer than the OEM pack did. Thanks
