Hi Nathanael. While my Snow Peak Ti bowl has nothing stamped on it in that regard, my other Snow Peak Ti gear is stamped as Japan. Not a 100% answer, but a good place to start. Happy trails.

Does this bowl get hot to hold when hot soup is in it?

Yes, the outside wall get very hot when very hot when filled with hot soups and stews. I also have the Snow Peak titanium plate, so I just put the bowl on the plate and this diffuses much of the heat. If it is cold enough outside you can always wear gloves. My S.P. titanium double walled mugs don’t get hot.

What's the deal with people posting these rust pictures. This should not rust. Anybody else have this issue?

No rust whatsoever. I mainly give my dogs ice cubes out of this. It also goes through the dishwasher. No issues.

Is there a lid I can buy for this?
