A great help for reading up close
These are so good for me that I bought three extra sets, as I keep putting things down & can't find them when I want them. I have the new lousy fancy eye glasses that I realty hate, but with my eyes being so bad, the sellers claim that normal glasses would be too heavy for me to wear. The nose piece is about 1/16" thick, so the clips fit over the bracket. My lenses are only 1" from top of the frame to the bottom, & the magnifying lens are 1 1/2" , which means that if I push the clip all the way down to the glass frame, the nose piece & the lens create pressure & are uncomfortable to wear, so I just barely hook them on to the nose piece & I use both hands when I flip the glasses up or down, which helps them from falling off. For someone that is active, this won't be too good as they will bounce off, but, as I am only reading while sitting, the glasses don't fall off. These are only good for working up close or reading up close, which means that they won't be of any use to make out checks or trying to use the computer or other similar projects. For me, they have made my reading more enjoyable, but as we all have different eye problems, these might not work for others. The quality of the glasses and the frames are very good, which is a surprise, as they came from China. Look for price & shipping. +JMJ+

Pretty good overall.
These work great, good magnification, clear vision, fit my glasses good. But I only have 1 issue with these, the clip that holds them onto your glasses needs to be stronger & more sturdy, mine keep falling off my glasses, other than that they're pretty good.

So Much Easier For Cross Stitch!
I do a lot of smaller cross stitch (18 count cloth typically) and the strain on my peepers can get intense. I've previously tried one of those magnifying glasses with a light and a cord that goes around your neck. I had a few issues with that: if I slightly moved, it would get off balance and flop around; the light was the perfect angle to blind my husband if he looked at me while he was sitting; if I looked up from the glass, my eyes took quite a while to adjust; my neck was in a weird place with it on and I would end up with headaches/neck pain. It wasn't the perfect fit. I'm working on cross stitch for Christmas gifts and wanted to try again. I purchased this and so far, they work!. The glasses I have on in the pics are the largest ones I have and these cover the entire lens. They flip up easily and, the best part: my eyes adjust instantly from short to long distance! I don't know much about the science/anatomy of this whole thing, I just know that I don't have to wait 5-10 minutes for my eyes to stop being googly from the other magnifying lens thing. They are also easy on and off and overall, so so so much better than the other thing I tried. One caveat: I am nearsighted (meaning my close-up sight is good, but medium and long distances are blurry) and these work great for close up work. However, they completely cancel out my glasses prescription for anything further away than about 8 inches from my face. This makes my cross stitch perfect, but my pattern that's about a foot away from me hard to see. I expected them to be better for a bit longer distance, but it's not a deal breaker. I'm not sure if a different strength in these would be better or not. Some people said these are heavy. I haven't experienced that. I have two pairs of very lightweight glasses and two (the ones in the pics being one) heavier ones. I used these with one of the lightweight pairs for about 3 hours last night with no issues at all. I'm guessing that the people with this problem could need their glasses adjusted to fit better even without this product. Yes, you are Dork Patrol with these on. It's fine. Your project will be so impressive when you're done that it doesn't matter. Overall, I'm really happy with these. I love that they're hands-free once they're on and easy to flip up to do other stuff. I'm glad I tried this type of magnification and my cross stitch projects are too!

Cheap Plastic Clip
For the price these rate a 1 for the following: THe all important clip that attaches to the glasses is made of some cheap plastic. Mine arrived broken on one side. As soon as I operated the lever to open these so as to attach to my glasses one of the prongs on one side snapped. I did detect some 'stickage' as I operated these but did not apply undue force whilst opening. I suspect one of the prongs-pads had some residue on it that caused it to stick somewhat. After studying these for a few minutes I determined they are unworthy of keeping as the plastic is not of the sturdy kind but of some cheap material that is easily cracked/broken. Especially if it is cold (say below 60F). Amazon rates a 10 as I have the return labels in hand already for a refund. I'd not buy these if I was you. Look elsewhere. For the 12 bucks or so you deserve a better quality item. P.S. The magnification on these is very hard to detect. WIth my eyes and my eyeglasses the focal range was about at 2 feet with perhaps an inch of usable depth. The magnification was really useless IMO and even if they had not been broken I'd have returned these. Buyer would probably be better off going to local ChinaMadeMart and look thru the selection of clip-ons there and find a magnification range they want.

Not good for some glasses
The clip on this item seems to be designed for wire framed glasses, like aviator glasses. They don't fit glasses with plastic frames, as the plastic frames are too thick for the clip. I did try them on reading glasses i had which have wire frames. While the item did attach to them, it would eventually slip / maneuver towards the edge of the frames and could fall off unexpectedly. Using them at home would be okay, especially if reading in bed or sitting at a table. But using them outdoors may get them scratched if they fall to the ground or if your fishing they might fall off into the pond unexpectedly. However, the lenses themselves are very good, clear and lightweight. Its the clipping mechanism / methodology that is questionable and unreliable. What i might do is to break out my dremel tool and see if i can saw away the clip and then super glue the base of the clip to the top of my plastic sunglasses.

Practical & Efficient
I wear prescription bi-focal eyeglasses for driving and editing/proofreading work; but I wear these magnifiers clipped to a pair of generic 10X glasses which hang around my neck for most of my waking hours at home. I probably flip down these magnifiers 40-50 times each day for everything from checking "Lean Cuisine" microwave cooking times to the fine print on warranties or CD/DVD liner notes, and they never let me down. This particular pair of Carson Clip-and-Flips replaces the same product I used for years until I accidentally snapped them in half at the bridge in a freak mishap (snagging them on the paper feed of my computer printer). But even though I had to replace the pair I originally purchased, I want to stress that the first pair lasted at least 5 years and suffered through countless drops, bangs, and bumps before succumbing to the aforementioned calamity. I highly recommend this product to anyone in need of additional magnification in a variety of reading circumstances. They clip on to almost any glasses with a top frame and remain secure until one removes them. Reasonably priced and shipped with their own carrying case.

Good quality, clear and cleanable. I find them quite useful
These are my "hangnail or splinter" glasses (also good for reading the print on tiny pill bottles). The flip up / flip down feature is very useful for me, and works well. I never needed any such thing until last year when I had my cataracts removed which also removed my extreme nearsightedness. These aren't as good as my original eyeballs, but they're good enough to get by 95% of the time. (The other 5% I take a picture with my phone and enlarge it enough to see).

Not what I needed, I guess.
Have to have item very close to your face for lens to focus and having it on my glasses makes me feel sick when I move my head. Does not do what I needed it to for work.

Produkten uppfyller inte förväntningar - sitter inte så bra på mina glasögon och det samma gäller fokusering.

Well made, easy to use.
These work well, just what I was aiming for. Good, clear field of vision, easy to clip on my glasses. Seem quite sturdy.

Quick, simple and effective magnification for glasses-wearers
I use these for modelmaking, and find them utterly indispensable. I hate using head-mounted magnifiers as I find them bulky, uncomfortable and annoying. Also, if I am filming my work and working close up to the model, all the camera sees is a big derpy magnifier getting in the way. Also they can be a pain when already wearing glasses. These flip magnifiers are a great solution for glasses-wearers as they simply clip on to the frame and are good to go. They way virtually nothing and can be flipped up out of the way in an instant. Because they are not a bog honking visor thing you will not get headaches or bang into the bench lights every five minutes and can quickly flip them to look at things away from the bench. The 4 dioptre lenses are perfect for me to be able to see tiny details either close up, or - when I am filming/streaming - well enough from a foot away that I can work without getting my head in shot all the time. Designed for fishing but perfect for any tiny hobby.
