It runs on a battery, so you don't need to wind it every day. A silver oxide 377 (SR626SW) battery is pre-installed in all our quartz pocket watches.

Yes, it keeps good time and is very easy to set the time. The battery lasts at least one year or more.

How do I know if the battery needs to be replaced? Can I replace it by myself? What tools do I need to replace battery?

The watch will slow down or stop when the battery is dying. Replacing the battery is simple and you can do it yourself. All you need is a thin metal piece or a small knife. Please open the case gently to avoid damage. Please tell me if needed.

What occasions is this watch suitable for? Can it be engraved?

It makes a great gift (Gift box included) for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Xmas, New Year, birthdays, Mother's & Father's Day and so on. Sorry, it can be engraved, but we don't provide this service. If you need engraving, you may go to a local jeweler.
