Get in great shape and have fun doing it in the comfort of your own home. Get started and expand your Rebounder workout with these 6 workout videos. Compilation 1 includes First Timer, Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, Senior, Abdominal. Review: Much more than I thought it was going to be - I was so excited to get this DVD and begin getting in shape again, 25 years behind a desk has really taken a toll on my strength and body. Now that I'm in my late 50's I was looking for a program to work with my trampoline I've had for years but never did anything but bounce on to show me some workouts without injury to my joints and I was thinking OK this is 'the one'. WOW I was so wrong in my thinking that 'Oh, I can do That, it looks So easy' well I'm here to say it's not, at least for me. I had to stop not even 15 minutes into the First timers workout to catch my breath, I was really sweating and out of breath!! I still believe that this is the program for me but it will take me longer that I originally thought to get stronger and back in shape. In going through the menu of workouts, I've only tried the First Timers, Basic and the Senior, I didn't like the guy in the senior workout at all, so I had to quit that workout, the music was boring and he was just too slow to listen too. On the other hand JB is quite funny and inspiring, his introduction is great and he really explains the proper way to exercise using a rebounder. I'm giving it all 5 Stars since there is only one part I don't like, and there are enough levels of workouts to use for quite a while and I am hopeful using this program will help me lose weight, firm up and feel better about myself. Review: NOT WORTH COST!!!!! - I am soooo disappointed in this workout. I thought it would have several workouts to choose from; it doesn't. It is also not for beginners. It is not worth the $20 I paid for 10 miniute workout. I will not be using this workout will probably use disk for crafts.

Much more than I thought it was going to be
I was so excited to get this DVD and begin getting in shape again, 25 years behind a desk has really taken a toll on my strength and body. The Real Deal
This is what rebounding is all about. All though JB has a number of rebounding DVD's out, this is the one you want. I've knows people who have been rebounding for months or years, but this one literally kicked their butt. This isn't for someone who's going to stand in front of a TV and do rebounding thinking they're going to get results. Start out with the 10 minute first timer. From there, progress from beginner, intermediate and advanced. These are all intense workouts, and you never step off the rebounder. It's constant jumping. At the end of the intermediate and advanced, he does an extra 10 minutes of sports specific exercises. You can choose to do them or not. Each routine is close to 30 minutes. When you're done with these routines, you'll know you had a workout. I'm 52, been doing rebounding 5 years, and can tell you. This is the best exercise I've ever done. Just go on line and type in "rebounder benefits". That says it all. This DVD is for the serious person only. Start out slow and work your way up. All though at first you may think it's impossible for someone to do 30 minutes of this type of intense workout, it's possible. Just keep at it. The pay off is great. Good Luck

So far so good
The DVD has a few chapters, which you're able to choose, you don't have to watch the entire DVD like some reviews have said. I think there's intro, basic, intermediate, advanced, senior, and abdominal. I skipped the intro, and if you've ever done rebounding before you can too- you won't miss anything. I've done the basic a few times and just did the intermediate. The basic I thought was going to be a piece of cake but I was still huffing and puffing half way through and the next day my legs and abs were SO sore! Each workout has a warm up, cardio, sport specific, ab workout and stretch/cool down. The basic is about 30 minutes and the intermediate is an hour. I've been doing YouTube videos for rebounding and they just weren't making me sweat or push myself, and this really does. I can't wait to see some results. I'm excited to graduate to advanced and I'm going to try the abdominal tonight!

Rebounding is Fun
I just got this in the mail today. I've had a mini-trampoline for many years and have always loved messing around on it, but I'm the type of person who benefits from instruction. I am glad to see these workouts. They tell you to use their Urban Rebounder, but my no-name model from Sears works fine. I don't know if I could add the stability bar on to it, but I don't think I'll need to use that. I started at the beginning and did the first workout: First-Timers. It was so difficult I couldn't believe it. They slowed everything down so much that it was no fun and I was completely out of breath. I had to take jogging breaks to catch my breath. However, the First-Timers workout only needs to be gone through one time, if that. I think you can learn all the basics from the second workout: The Basic. The Basic workout was really fun and up to tempo (unlike the First-Timers). It was exactly what I was hoping for: a good workout on the mini-tramp. It included a warm up, cardio section, jogging/sprinting section, cool down, and abs workout (which I thought was pretty tough). The moves were all basic but the warm up and cool down had some variety not included in the cardio section. This disc includes 6 workouts, not four. They are: First-Timers, Basic Program, Intermediate, Advanced, Oldies But Goodies (for Seniors), and Abdominal Bound. I haven't tried the other four yet, but the other reviewer covered the Advanced program and the fundamental outline of all the programs. I did look at the workout for seniors. The music for it is also very slow so I don't know if it will be a fun workout. It has a different instructor (JoJo) who is very interesting. The main instructor, JB Berns, puts me in mind of the martial arts instructor from Napoleon Dynamite, but he's not that bad. He's actually kind of funny. He does take the name of the Lord in vain twice in First-Timers and once in Basic. I hope that will not continue into the other programs. You'd think someone would have told him . . . (unless they didn't want their face smashed?) He mentions checking your heart rate one time, but gave no time to do so. I'm glad he mentioned it because I was so focused on the moves that I didn't realize how elevated my heart rate was. After that, I had to modify the moves myself to keep my heart rate down. They had five people on camera; you'd think one of them could have demonstrated some modifications. Sometimes he gives good instructions on form, but other times none. He says, "use good form," but doesn't explicate. If you are a beginner you will need to learn about form from other fitness instructors (Karen Voight being the best I know of). The demonstrators are all wearing gym shoes, so I wore mine. I tried the cool down barefoot because my feet were hot, but I think it's better to wear shoes for the workout. I'd have to say that maybe this DVD only deserves three stars because of its weaknesses, but I gave it four because it's unique (are there any other rebounder DVDs out there?) and because it's a good value. You get six workouts on one disc. There are other compilations too, with different instructors, including ballet, dance, pilates (core), African, Latin, kick, boxing, hip hop, hi-lo, and stretching. I'm looking forward to trying some of those.

Excellent workout video
I have a trampoline and wanted to learn more than jumping up and down. I have not tried all of the exercises, but am impressed with the amount of sweat I had in 10 minutes. This is a high calorie burner in a short period of time. Again, I am out of shape and obese. This was easy to do and soft on my joints. My goal is to get through one video session without having to spread it out over a day or two.

Back to the 90s
I added rebounding into my cardio repertoire to give myself some more variety. This is the first rebounding DVD I used after I purchased my Cellersizer. If you've ever done any of Cathe Friedrich's older workout videos such as PowerMax, the look of Urban Rebounder will be very familiar to you. This is because both videos are produced by Greg Twombly who was the founder of the Creative Instructors Aerobics. So the look of these workouts gives me the impression they were created in the late 90s. The sets, other than the floor, have a sort of cardboard look to them. This workout is extremely basic. As you go from Basic to Advanced, JB Berns adds more and more basic moves. Even in the advanced workouts he refers to the moves by the workout they were introduced in. The basic moves include jumping jacks, military press (jumping with your feet together, pressing up with your arms), basic bounce, etc. After the cardio portion, he moves into the "Sports Specific" routines which feature moves like skiing, jogging/running and squats. It's not a bad workout and it will leave you sweating. My biggest problem is that its fairly boring. There are frustrating moments when he announces that you're going to take it from the top, even though you've already "taken it from the top" about a dozen times. I find the beginner and advance less frustrating in this regard. So no, it's not bad. Just beware that you might feel like it's time to move on after you've done these workouts three or four times.

Good for workout, but...
I have been using my rebounder for over a year now with this CD and it is not hard to use. I started with the basic and rapidly worked my way to advanced. I am not a dancer and have played sports most of my life, but am now over 40 and have terrible knees. The rebounder works very well for bad knees, back, etc. My only complaint with this DVD is JB Bearns does, indeed, use the Lord's name in vain multiple times. That, and the rebounders in the background (namely Tracey Finan) are sometimes extremley irritating. I usually rebound without watching the video to avoid seeing the annoying gestures (flailing, dramatic arm movements, etc) Tracey makes.
