Not used it properly yet but it does definitely feel significantly more solid than a lot of the compact umbrellas I’ve seen before. Will update this when I’ve had a chance to use it in windy & rainy conditions! The colour is maybe slightly lighter than in the photos but it’s still the same kind of classy desaturated burgundy so it looks really good! The material is also noticeably thick and good quality which is really lovely. The feel of the handle is also really nice, it has that matte feel to it and while it’s definitely plastic, I wouldn’t call it “plasticky” at all! They’ve definitely paid attention to the details with it, as it’s all finished quite nicely and there aren’t any weird gaps where water might pool or anything. About the same difficulty of closing as other umbrellas of this design (so kinda hard for me but I have twig arms lol)

I bought this to replace a cheap folding umbrella I left in a taxi :-( Its first test was in the stiff winds and rain of Scotland that would have destroyed lesser umbrellas and it came through with flying colours! It is really sturdy. Another thing I like about it is that it extends fully and quickly with just a push of the button in the handle - a function that really saves you getting wet in heavy rains when you are getting out of a car. It takes an extra push to close it because of the strong mechanism but it is not a problem. Its shape protects you well from the rain. The colour and quality of the fabric makes it a stylish as well. It is on the heavy side compared to cheaper portable umbrellas and a bit larger but that actually works for me because it makes me more aware of it so I won't be leaving it in a taxi again. The fact that it is so windproof and protective more than makes up for the extra weight.

A lot heavier than expected. If you’re looking for a cheap umbrella which looks quite fancy and nice, then this is a huge winner. But if you’re just looking for a light and small cheapy to throw in your bag then this probably isn’t your best bet. I would have loved it to be lighter, and the ‘leather’ cover is huge and heavy. Looks nice though so great if you’re going for the low cost but classy look

So impressed with this. Not only has an 'open' Bitton but the same button also closes it!!!! Larger than a standard umbrella but not quite as big as a golf umbrella which is exactly what we wanted. Folds away pretty small considering the size of it. Would fit in most larger size handbags but not small ones. Sturdy and a nice weight to it making it feel good quality. Would highly reccomend.

I bought this for my 80 year old mother who uses umbrella's a lot. She needed something light, easy to use with one hand and sturdy. This ticked all of the boxes and she is really pleased with it. A very good buy and highly recommended by her.

It's very strong and well made for the British weather, but unfortunately is quite heavy to be every day on the hand bag

Great replacement umbrella. Heavier than your bog standard umbrella but that’s to be understandable due to the mechanics of it. It’s always great to invest in a good umbrella. Ordered the burgundy; it’s a great colour and the fabric is great quality too. Update...Unfortunately the umbrella did experience some trauma from the heavy winds in the UK and one of the spokes has broken. I saw that the umbrella comes with a Lifetime Guarantee, so I contacted the supplier. They were very helpful...they replied to my email within 24 hours, requested photos of the damage, which I sent through to them. They then arranged for me to receive a replacement...free of charge. I appreciate their help and great Customer Service and look forward to receiving my replacement umbrella, hopefully this one will live up to it's name. :-)

Muy buen precio para un paraguas plegable que de momento me parece muy robusto y fiable. Es grande y se recoloca en caso de que el viento le de la vuelta. He visto sin embargo que algunas de las juntas de las varillas de han empezado a oxidar. De momento no ha afectado al paraguas, veremos con el tiempo.

Der Schirm vermittelt nach dem Auspacken einen stabilen EIndruck. Durch die vielen Streben hat er bisher jedem Wind standgehalten, besitzt jedoch ein höheres Gewicht, als vergleichbare Schirme. Er lässt sich automatisch öffnen und schließen. Das Zusammendrücken erfordert jedoch etwas Kraft, weswegen er für Kinder vermutlich eher ungeeignet ist. Erwachsene sollten hiermit jedoch keine Probleme haben. Zudem ist ein Etui aus Kunstleder beigelegt, um den Schirm zu verstauen.

Bought this to withstand the insane winds in Vienna, hasn't disappointed yet and fits in my backpack easily. Be warned it is a bit heavy but that's expected when you're getting something this sturdy.
