Closed length is exactly 3.5 meters, quality of this ladder is excellent, the price is fantastic, its a heavy beast of a thing, but needs to be. I have yet to measure its exact fully extended length, but I'm in no doubt the advertised length of 8.5 meters will be correct.

Very solid quality ladder - used to reach gutter on top floor of house. Very stable. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t so heavy. I needed my brother to help me use it as you really need 2 people to hold (keep the balance) whilst lifting each section. I can only use it when he is visiting lol

The TB Davies 7.0m/23.0ft TASKMASTER 2 Section Extension Ladder is a very solid piece of equipment. It feels sturdy and secure when in use, and I added a standoff for working on gutters—it really makes a difference in terms of safety and convenience. The reach is fantastic, and it gives you that feeling of confidence when you're up there. That said, it’s a bit on the heavy side, so carrying it around can be a bit of a workout. But once it’s in place, it’s a reliable ladder that feels safe and dependable. Great for larger jobs, just maybe get a friend to help you move it!

I was quite taken aback when I saw the small size of my 7m (extended length) ladder. I was also surprised by how easy it was to transport (a few hundred metres on my back was no problem). I believe that an extended length of 7m is perfect for my requirements. Despite its light weight, it looks very robust and it’s not difficult to separate the ladders (so they can be used individually). It would be nice if all the non-aluminium components were hot dip galvanised or stainless (I don’t have certainty about this). It’s a superb item.

Needed a ladder to get me up to the gutters on our old farmhouse due to leaves from neighbours trees filling the guttering. I’m not great with heights and this ladder with its stabilising bar and good ladder lock gives me a bit more confidence. Very good quality to for the price. I’m very happy with it.
