Great quality bits that give a great finish. Better than the price suggests. Also a great range of sizes, most sets only cater for either small or large but with this set you get the lot.

This is my first set of Forstner drill bits so I have no direct experience of other manufacturers offerings. Other reviewers have commented on the finish of these drill bits - specifically rust and my set is the same. Tried cleaning them up without success. Whilst it's essentially a cosmetic issue - it's disappointing to receive a brand new product this way. I've tested the bits out - they seem to do what they're supposed to do, but definitely use a very slow drill speed. The case the bits are delivered in is solid and well worth having. Overall I think these represent decent value for money - especially given the high price of some alternatives. One star off for the less than new finish...

It did the job I needed them for using hard wood though bit on thin side .

This is my first set of Forstner bits so I can't say I have a lot of experience with them (or any, actually). I use them mainly in a bench press drill an I have to say they don't cut through harder wood as well as I would have hoped. I have to go very slowly putting very little pressure on the handle to get a smooth cut. It may be normal for this type of bit. 4 stars because I am not sure that the bits are at fault at all.

I've got to say, I had high hopes for these bits after trying quite a few different ways of boring holes in softwood and not getting a clean finish. Unfortunately, with 18mm and the 42mm that I've tried, both have had their cutting edges flattened and blunted after just one use. Not even in production, I was doing a test with a couple of 2x3s and at around 12mm depth there was smoke and the smell of burning. On closer inspection it was obvious that there was no edge left on the bit and I was basically trying to drill a flat piece of metal through the stock. Absolute waste of money.

Tres bon raport qualitée/prix jamais decus avec Workpro les fraises ont un tres tres bon affut ce qui donne un perssage net et précis le cofret est bien penssé et solide l affut des fraise y est protégé et d'un coup d'oeil ons trouve la bonne fraise bref je recomande!!!

Ottimo prodotto, arrivato con un giorno in anticipo, le punte si trovano dentro una comodissima valigetta controllate una ad una non ho riscontrato difetti, provate su legno massello la punta da 50 e quella da 40 vi garantisco che lavorano bene e che sono affilate. Il mio consiglio è di acquistarle visto il loro prezzo davvero conveniente.

Tra le varie punte Forstner che ho acquistato singolarmente, ho voluto prendere questo set per avere i vari diametri a disposizione nel laboratorio. La qualità non è alta, direi media medio-bassa, produzione cinese, la scatola è comunque robusta, la qualità del taglio è buona ma, al contrario delle DeWalt ad esempio, tendono a riscaldarsi anche dopo il primo foro.
