Really impressed with this storage cabinet. It feels sturdy, offers plenty of storage space, and the Estate Black finish gives it a clean, stylish look. Assembly was straightforward, and it fits nicely in a variety of rooms. Great combination of quality, functionality, and appearance.

No, this is not a piece of heirloom Chippendale furniture but for someone watching their dollars and wanting a cabinet of this size and configuration this particular product is a high value purchase. I've bought assemble-it-yourself engineered wood products in the past and I don't think you could do much better than this dollar for dollar. The item arrived packaged extremely well and it would take a drop off a two story building to damage the product inside. Internally all bits and pieces were well braced and unblemished. Each item in the box is marked with a unique number and the small hardware is blister packed in marked segments for easy identification. Definitely better than for other products I've purchased. I laid out all the parts and using just a screwdriver and a small hammer (no glue!) I followed the clear and well illustrated step-by-step instructions slowly and carefully. It came together readily in no more than an hour and all parts fit and secured as intended without issue or missing hardware. Hinges worked and aligned as intended and drawer pull slide feels better than anticipated. The cabinet ended up in a small office where space is at a premium and I needed a something with suitable height and sufficient depth to support a mini-fridge (not much out there does). The storage was a bonus. This cabinet, as compared to comparable products, is solid, does the job, provides added storage flexibility, and looks good to boot. Again, a lot of bang for your buck.

I initially hesitated to buy this piece of furniture, due to some comments regarding durability of the piece. I’m happy however that I purchased it! I assembled it by myself in an hour or so. I highly recommend assembling on a clean and carpeted surface, as dirt and such on a hard floor could scratch the furniture during assembly. If you only have a hard floor, assemble it on top of clean cardboard, etc. I was pleased that I did not scratch this furniture during assembly and it looks really nice! I did not sit anything heavy on top of it like a television but it would likely be more than capable of supporting the weight of a game console, Blu-Ray player, etc. It’s definitely a piece of furniture that I wouldn’t move around a lot after assembly but it is plenty sturdy in my opinion, looks nice and serves the purpose of providing a top table area, pull-out drawer and cabinets below. It sincerely looks like an expensive piece of furniture but the budget price obviously means that you don’t get the heavy weight and exceptional build quality of high-end furniture that costs several times more. To sit below my TV that is mounted to the wall, it works great! I wish that they had included a black touch-up marker though, in case I had scratched it during assembly.

I ordered this despite reading many negative reviews. The look of this cabinet just appealed to me, so I was willing to take a chance. I am so glad I did. Literally none of the complaints I saw were valid in my case, and the finished cabinet is just beautiful. 1. Hard to put together: Not! It took my husband and me all of 3 hours. 2. Holes don't align: Every single hole aligned perfectly. 3: Hinges are hard to put on: No, they are not, all you have to do it follow the instructions. I confess that we had to redo the hinges once, simply because we did NOT follow the instructions. Having said that, it still only took us a total of 25 minutes. 4: Gap between the doors: Not if you attach and adjust the hinges correctly. 5: Problem with the drawer: Didn't have a problem. Again, just follow the instructions and you'll be fine. We laid an old bedsheet on the carpet, then laid out all the parts. All the hardware is separated in small pouches which are clearly labelled. The manufacturer couldn't have made it any easier. As I said above, we love this cabinet and I would order it all over again. Oh, some people said it looks cheap....no, it doesn't. On the contrary, it looks much more expensive than it is.

I was looking for a cart/stand to place my microwave on but wanted it to look more like a piece of furniture. This was perfect and the price was even better! My husband and I put it together in about an hour. It arrived in perfect condition, no missing parts, no flaws, and the directions were easy to follow. We sort the small parts out in muffin tins before we begin. There are typically a few extras they supply but generally if you 've put it together right there shouldn't be more than 1-3 pieces of hardware left over. We had to do some tweaking to adjust the doors but that is to be expected. The directions were very clear. The only additional thing I had to do was run a black marker down the exposed edge of the back panel otherwise you could see the 1/8" raw edge from the side. The drawer had extra support so it won't bow if you put anything but light weight objects in it. Also there is an adjustable shelf behind the doors. Perfect for containers, cookbooks, baskets, etc. We have purchased many Sauder products before (TV stand, book shelves, computer desk, entertainment center) and have always been please with the quality for the price. If you're expecting high quality this isn't it. If you're looking for function and durability at a reasonable price look for Sauder. I have some Sauder pieces that are more than 10 years old, still look great and function as intended.

So, just to let you know, the parts are not all marked the same. some are marked with stickers indicating the the letter of the part, but the majority of parts seem to have the part number indented on it somewhere. Where, is for you to find. I uploaded a picture of the metal drawer rails to show where on that part you can find the correct part #. My pictures also show that this utility stand does not have the same depth as the matching computer desk, just in case that's important to you. Since this was my 2nd Sauder Chalked Chestnut piece, I was much more familiar the 2nd time around with how to adjust the drawer and doors. Once you learn how it can actually be done. I paid about 150 plus tax and it shipped from somewhere back east, so it took a good week to arrive to California. It would be nicer if it were a little less money, say, under 100 bucks, but that's life these days, I guess. Between the lower cost Chalked Chestnut |desk and this side table, I spent $450 and I'm not done yet. I would like one more matching piece. I don't know how it will stand the test of time, but for now I guess I've give 5 stars, but I wish they let us use 1/2 stars. I was a bit harsh on the review for the desk because, honestly, the process of putting it together was beginning to piss me off. Mainly, adjusting doors and drawers, but once you get the hang of it, life becomes easier. This also didn't take near as long to put together as the desk I bought. It does come nicely packed and secured in its package.

The parts were off. The doors were not quite wide enough and were too long where they scrape against the bottom when you open and close and when you close theres a gap between doors. My husband has put another bed table exactly like this one together, so he knows this one is defective. I got it used. He even called the suppprt line but it didnt help. So we have one thats great on one side and one thats got a open gap between the two doors on the second one. Ugh.

The cabinet is decent. It looks nice in the corner of my dining room but it was a nightmare setting up. The process went great up until we attempted to get the drawer put together. It does not screw or attach effectively the front cover to the sides. I had to use glue to get it to stay together so every time I shut the drawer the front panel doesn’t fall off. Also the hinges getting the drawer to slide in and out easily took nearly 30 minutes to figure out. I imagined we looked like a bunch of three olds trying to put square blocks in the triangle cut out shape cause it was just not fitting properly. Eventually my husband finally got it to slide in right but it should not have been this complicating. Do your research there might be better products available out there. I recommend if your looking for a high quality piece of furniture just go to a furniture store.

Arrived on time, well packaged. Assembly instructions are clear and concise, and the end result is a pretty solid, functional unit. This is not a high end piece of furniture (mostly chipboard and plastic film), but it's well designed, decent hardware, and imo decent value for the price.

Beautiful and well crafted (for the price) We are using it as a microwave stand and I like the easy pull out drawer and cupboard with shelf in bottom. You have to build it took hubby about 1 hour to build and said very good instructions for a change.

Suited my needs for a new piece for our newly painted master bathroom. I put it together - thought I would never finish but I got it done!! A little cheaply made but good for what we need.

Beautiful cabinet! Aside from it being quite beautiful it is very sturdy. I am very pleased and would recommend it.

Loved it. Materials were very good. Directions were easy to understand. It looks fantastic! Worth the money I paid for it.
