Three Sample Mold Test Kit W/ Accredited Analysis and Consulting

I'm really happy with the results and the turnaround time for the lab work. I'm project managing the reopen of a 46 room hotel and event center that was closed for 4 years and incurred some water damage in specific areas. I read online that surface testing wasn't reliable, but the cost of hiring a mold inspector was astronomical, and didn't even include any lab work. The mold showed up in the exact rooms I thought it might (closest to damage) even though I did not test surfaces with visible mold. I did not clean prior to testing, so some of the mold-free rooms had four years of dust buildup on the tested surfaces. I like that they offer results by email. I don't like that they still send you a pile of paper results. I thought I could opt out of that but maybe I missed something. Testing is very simple, and the results were emailed to me within days of them receiving the samples. On two of the 12 kits I sent to them (3 samples per kit) they mistakenly switched the results. They saw their error and notified me and sent the correct results the same day. This isn't to say that everyone should abide by these results in lieu of using professionals, but I'm glad I did. I knew where my water damage is and I'm already planning on tearing up those carpets/walls. I needed to know how far the mold had spread, or if there was non-visible mold in other rooms.

I WAS REALLY DISAPPOINTED ON THIS PRODUCT, WHEN TRUSTING THE RESULTS TO BE CORRECT. I HAD TO WAIT OVER A WEEK RESULTS ALL CAME BACK PERFECT.....NO MOLD. ONLY THEN TO FIND OUT BY ANOTHER TEST MAILED TO ANOTHER COMPANY TESTING THAT I HAD MOLD PARTICLES IN THE SAMPLES SENT TO THEM FROM MY APT.. SO WHO IS CORRECT? WELL A YEAR AGO MOLD WAS FOUND UNDER A REFRIGERATOR AND IN MY KITCHEN FROM A WATER LEAK. EVEN THOUGH CLEANING IT UP, IT DOES STAY IN YOUR AIR DUCTS SMALL PARTICLES IN AIR THAT FLOAT AROUND WHEN HEAT OR AIR IS BLOWING. SO I RECOMMEND YOU CLEAN YOUR AIR DUCTS WITH A COMPANY THAT USES A BIOCIDE AS WELL AS CLEANING DUCTS. AND CLEAN YOUR HOME WITH A BIOCIDE CLEANER AS SPORICIDIN. I'VE BEEN VERY SICK FOR OVER A YEAR COUGHING AND SKIN RASHES, EAR ITCHING ETC... MY OWN DOCTOR FOUND MOLD IN ME TO BOOT. SO I VERY MUCH QUESTION HOW THIS COMPANY GAVE ME FLYING COLORS ON ALL OF MY SAMPLES??? A WASTE OF $$ FOR ME SINCE RESULTS WERE NOT CORRECT! :-(

Amazingly Professional! The kit was easy to use! 1. Mailed back the sample (my stamp) 2. About a week and a half later I received a very comprehensive report. This report included background information, context, and even considerations for different types of treatment methods/remediation. 3. I have a very clear understanding of possible mold in my crawl space as a result of this test. 4. Completely satisfied with this product and recommend it!

Good result but What I find silly. you pay beaucoup money for this and they can't even provide a return paid envelope to send the test strips back. What the result tells you is very general. you have these type of mold, they may be toxic or not. I knew i had mold, i really wanted to know if it is toxic. the positive is: I now know I don't have the worst most toxic mold

Satisfied! I looked at several other kits, and I'm really glad I went with this one. It's the most economical I found, since you get to take three samples and the analysis cost is included (mailing it to them is not, but its minimal). You can sample a variety of surfaces. I received an email notice when my samples reached the lab and got my results soon after. My only complaint is that some of my results were broad and identified only the genus, not the species. But I know very little about the biology of mold and I have no idea if other tests get more specific. Overall this test was easy, fast, and allowed me to roughly identify what was in my basement and how it might be affecting me.

Received results quickly and with a booklet on how to interpret. More expensive than the big box store sample kits, and have more confidence in this one, but can't really be sure how accurate it is.

This is the second time I’ve had issues with this company. They used to be owned by a Kansas City family, but was sold out to a co in VA. Turnaround time was 2-3 days after they received your kit. They are horrible now Under new ownership. I registered thIs last kit aug 2nd never got any response that they received it. Called aug 27th, still no return call. Called again today (9/14) and left another message. We’re trying to help a family decide on best remediation approach and I don’t know if we have molds that give off toxins or not. I will never buy another kit from them again. No longer dependable to provide the service you prepaid for.

My review so far.... I got this because everyone in the reviews raved about how fast they received their results. Not me, I sent the samples 3 weeks ago and just got an email yesterday saying they got it and it will take 2 more weeks for me to get the results. I hate that I spent this amount of money for this.
