Silicone Scar Tape and Patches for Skin - Gel Sheets, Bandage, 1.57" x 60"

I use this product to help remove many small scars all over. I have probably tried six other brands, and this one is the bomb. The others would stick for a day, then start peeling away from skin on corners and border. Center of patch would stay stuck, but it was a mess. No sense in recycling if it didn't stick well the first time!? This silicone tape sticks so we'll. The edges adhere to skin so it almost feels flat. It stayed stuck about 2 weeks, then removed, cleaned, and restuck. Still going strong. Only issue is if you use it where skin folds, it pulls away from skin and comes off. I feel that would happen no matter what brand you use. Love this product!

I've had prior experience with medical grade silicone, and a thick gel block was what I was originally shopping for. I couldn't find it, so I reluctantly decided to purchase this product. The first thing I noticed about the packaging is that it seemed heavy. Upon opening, I was a little disappointed that the silicone was so thin and lightweight itself. My disappointment was soon gone! My wound began to react just as it would've with the old silicone block, and I didn't need anything to keep it poon the wound! I am impressed, and extremely satisfied with it. I've cleaned my wounds for times in the past three days, washed and sterilized the silicone bandage, and reapplied it with only a slight corner peel (that you can see in the photo). The single strip I've used has been through wound cleanings, showers, gardening and mowing activities (lots of sweating), and bedsheets (think of all of those clinging and peeling possibilities). This product is #waterproof, #sweatproof, #dirtproof, #pethairproof, #meproof (and that's saying a LOT). Silicone is great for wound recovery, and beyond my skepticism, I highly recommend this product.

Loving the tapes until they don't stick. The perforations separate once it's on the skin. They fell off rather quickly because the edges start to curl and fill with lint and loose their stickiness. So no, washing and re-using isn't a thing. Does not work and if it sticks to itself, good luck. I solved some of my issues by cutting the strip size I needed, then putting some painter's tape all across, then I cut it in half since I didn't need all that width. I've managed to keep each one on for about a month before the ends start peeling off. If it's too soon I end up putting paper tape to hold it in place. Yes, some of my scars have diminished some, but not enough so, I will keep them on until my next doctor appt.

I use these to put on the underside of my wig to hide the lace grids in my part. Works great!

Overall, this silicone tape is fine. I've used other silicone tape and they could be removed and re-applied with secure adhesion. While they would advertise they could be used up to 14 days (translation: 14 re-applications), that was overstating this feature. However, I would get at least 8-10 instances of removal/placement. This specific silicone tape was fine for the first 2 applications. On the third placement, I'd note that corners and edges were not adhering well. Fourth placement was even poorer in terms of adhesion. So, functionally it is a bit less than half as durable in usage than some other name brand silicone tape. For the initial 2 applications, the silicone tape worked fine. I felt it was a worthwhile product. So, dinged a star due to less than expected durability.

Amazed at how well this worked on my small scar from surgery I had five years ago. Didn’t totally get rid of the keloid part but the flat scar is nearly gone. I trimmed it so edges were rounder, helped it stick for longer. My scar is on my belly (able to hide with clothes) so I probably had the tape on almost 24/7 for 2-3 months. Changed it maybe twice a week. Would recommend!!!
