DEWALT Screwdriver Bit Set with Nut Drivers, 71-Piece (DWMT73808)

Someone at work had one of these and I really liked the design so I got one for home. The hand tool has a nice feel to it, and the kit has an outstanding assortment of tips. The case does a good job of keeping the tips in place and in order, and securely clamps shut. I didn't think I was going to like the "bars" of tips, but that actually turns out to be handy because I can grab the one with the bit I need, and when I get up to the thing that needs tightening and realize I was one size off... well I have that one too and don't have to go back down the ladder. It would be nice if they had include a second smaller driver for those cramped spots where the big driver won't fit easily. And it's just a straight driver, there's no ratchet in the handle. Nor does it have a spot to store bits. But I suppose that makes it more durable?

Case was a lot bigger than the picture showed was going to put in my rear basket on my ebike. Perhaps I should have went for the 40 piece but wanted to make sure I had every socket and hex to work on my bike. Very good quality but Case while it says shatter proof I wouldn't hold my breath. 7/10 update. Really put this tool through its paces, very solid where most cheaper quality would have snapped or stripped out because it's material could not take stress and the bits and sockets were too brittle. If you are looking for a solid screw driver, nut and socket driver this is definitely top notch. While the claim the case is sturdy and shatter proof I'd still use caution because men tend to be clumsy sometimes in the shop lol.

Good toolset for home use but I wouldn’t say it’s professional grade. I do wish Dewalt made these with the magnetic inside the nutsetters. The case is stackable, and has a small thin storage area underneath for wrenches or anything that’s thin in size. When case is closed all bits stay in place but they don’t stay in place when the lid is open. So you do need to be careful otherwise everything will fall out. I’ve used this set for working on repairing my own home appliances and the nutsetters have held up. I personally use these bits and nutsetters with my Drill driver and not the included screwdriver handle. Haven’t used it at all so I can’t say what I think of it. Other than that the screwdriver bits and nutsetters hold up well and handle the DIY work at home for me pretty well and are durable.

I want to say i just received my Dewalt multi-driver set and as a glazier and doing alot of residential work with glass this multi-driver set is universal not only for work purposes it also can be used for your own personal use for doing little work in your home. One of my coworker has this multi-driver set and we have used this handy Dewalt set for many jobs.! The price and quality of this set is worth the buck. Though i wish Dewalt would’ve made this multi-driver magnetic to hold the bits better. The functionality, and size the set is great.! Screw does hold bits but like it being magnetic is better.!

Hard to believe all these good reviews and no one has mentioned the hex bits are not magnetic. Lets face it,even some of the cheapest bits around are magnetic, wish I had noticed this before purchasing

Great tool kit to add to your DeWalt tool collection. Just about all the various screw/hex drive fasteners that you could ever need and it comes in a modular DeWalt box. The components have a durable and precise feel with no chrome finish to chip off over time. I bought this for use in assembling computers because it has both the 1/4 in and 3/16 in nut drivers. I also bought a Felo 0715732348 1/4-Inch x 4-Inch Hex Bit holder (also through Amazon) to add to this kit and the box even has room under the tray for this additional holder.
