SZCO Full Tang Railroad Fixed Blade Knife 11.5", Twist Pattern Handle

I honeslty was surprised how well this knife and holster is made. Design is absolutely stunning and the price is very cheap comparing to other sellers, especially if you buy something like that on a ren faire. Just a heads up it will arrive with a lot of oil grease on it, but that's totally normal so it doesn't get rusty. Just whipe it off with some paper towels and a bit of soap.

Wow, this railroad dagger is seriously impressive. I got it as a gift, and I was really surprised by how solid it feels in my hand. The craftsmanship on this thing is top-notch, truly exceptionally made. I wasn't expecting this level of quality, but it definitely exceeded my expectations. It's already become one of my friend's favorite pieces. The only downside was that when it was delivered, it came covered in an oily residue. Covered my hands in it. But after some wiping, it was easy to get off. I assumed it was like that to keep the metal from rusting, perhaps.

Now this is a chunk of steel! Made from a railroad spike, the handle of this knife is much heavier than the blade, but no big deal. The look is of a mini-Gladius, double edged and sharp. I am not a real fan of the angle that is inherent in a tanto type blade, and this has one on each edge, but they are slightly less pronounced. I always felt that this inhibited ease of sharpening, but I used a steel on this thing, and it is quite edgy! A good price to add this to my collection of 50 years, very unique offering. And the sheath is a perfect fit and of high quality.

Very heafty, came covered in protective oil, the bag it was in, the blade and handle, the whole thing was covered in oil. The handle is heavier than the blade, which when sheathed, the handle tends to flip and point down. The sheath itself is nice, and holds the blade tightly, but in time I do worry about the blade falling out when it flips upside down from walking.

Nice heft. Handle fills nice in hand. Scabbard is well stitched. Works great for Ren fair outfit or side project. Isn't a true blade, so sharpness of edge is non-existent... but the point is very pointy.

The rugged design of this knife along with the extreme sturdiness, made out of a single piece of metal definitely sets it above the rest! The sheath is thick and very high quality, it will last for decades if not a lifetime! The blade is very sturdy very high quality, the handle is comfortable although rugged. This is a wonderful knife to have, functional as it will hold an edge, and beautiful if simply looking for a unique knife for display. Highly recommended!

So I got the knife yesterday. The tip was bent and I don't think it's "hand forged" none of the Fuller's don't line up at all. Other then that it's a cool knife. Good for the money.

Okay, I admit it, I'm a sucker for knives...probably started off when I realized that having three kitchen knives wasn't going to cut it (sorry, couldn't resist it). Yeah, I have enough kitchen knives to open a small shop. And, outdoorsy handyman knives? I could maybe open an even larger shop. Anyway, this knife is sturdy, well put together, and will probably take most abuse that I'm liable to inflict on it. Not going to lie, this isn't a knife to hang on the wall to impress your buds, this is the one to tackle rough jobs and thereby impress your buds with its utility. And it comes with a functional leather sheath. I might consider getting another one to give away to that bumbling fool I'm sure to meet who's suffering with some pretty blade that should have stayed on his wall.

Un cuchillo muy bonito buen agarre el peso hace que se sienta robusto, se afila fácilmente es acero muy por lo cual se desgasta en el trabajo del campo el precio se me hace justo. la funda tiene muy buena calidad. Para colección es recomendable para trabajo no va a durar
