The Real McCoy
I replace 5-10 chains a week and had a tool that 'did the job'. But eventually it wore out the threads, so I replaced it with a much more 'expensive' one...... Have to say, I have been mightily unimpressed by the replacement, so I bought the Park Tool CT 3.3 to replace it. WOW! What A difference! I appreciate that for the average cyclist this is a very expensive tool, but if like mine, it's going to be used 'regularly', it is well worth the investment. The CT3.3 is 3 times the price of my previous tool, but as you can see from the pics, it's also far more robust and frankly, far better designed. Very happy with my purchase.

My favourite chain tool
Well made and durable. Previously I've only bought used cheaper tools. This is far superior. I carry a lightweight tool with a few spare links in my saddle bag. I reserve this tool for my home toolbox.

Expensive but worth it
I've gone through dozens of cheap chain tools. They all break. All of them. This is definitely not one of them. The problem with the cheap ones is the chain guide is not adjustable, and it really needs to be. Without an adjustable chain guide (or what Park calls the locating shelf) the chain WILL just tilt over, the pin will then be at an angle, and instead of pushing it out you will bend and thus destroy the driving pin on the tool, and probably destroy your chain in the process. See this review, for example: https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/customer-reviews/R2GO4H3WJPTJFZ/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B00E0FZV1Y The only way you can actually use these cheap chain tools is if you're lucky enough to have a massively thick chain, as that seems to be the standard these Chinese manufacturers are catering to, and in over half a century of riding all kinds of bikes I can honestly say I've never seen a chain that thick - I wouldn't even know where to buy one. Maybe it's a big thing in China, who knows? Anyway, no such problem with this US made Park Tool. It has a floating chain guide, and thus your chain is always guaranteed to fit perfectly. No more broken chain tools! In the long run, you'll save yourself a ton of money.

Reat qualiry .Strong. does the job
Amazing tool really strong. Sometimes little difficult because of slippage on the pin by the tip when not aligned properly. But I don't think its meant to put the pin when removed completely

The best splitter
Simple design and so easy to use. Whish I’d bought this years ago vs the cheaper chain splitters I’ve had. Torques on the pins easily

Skuwacz do codziennego użytkowania

10 out of 10 park tools
It breaks bike chains and joins them up for right sizing. I found I didn’t need to use joiner clips. Excellent tool robust and well made

Quality Built
Durable and robust. It is well made and can handle any bicycle chain. I had other bicycle chain tools, but none seem to be capable enough (most broke). Then again, this is a Park-Tool item. I bit more expensive than others, but if you want a quality made tool that will last and handle any bicycle chain, this is it.
