Ottomanson 2x12 Hallway Runner Rug – Non-Slip Kitchen Rugs

Not really 1'-10" W. closer to 23 1/4" W. had to cut it down for my use, so three unbound edges rather than two, but other than that it works as it should - tool box drawer liners. Soft, absorbent, reduces noise, etc. great product.

My senior dogs had a had time getting up off the hard wood floors. Even with clipping nails weekly, they would slip, unable to grip. I bought this runner, and now they can get up and walk with confidence. It wears well, dog hair vacuums right up off it, and my grandson spilled his drink on it once and it didn’t soak in, so I was able to get it up before it stained. It is not really soft, but that’s not what I wanted anyway. I love how it looks, and it doesn’t slip much. Great buy! Looking for a matching rectangular rug. I recommend.

I purchased this for my home gym room. I had 2’ x14’ area where my gym flooring didn’t cover and the concrete is painted and slippery. My dog loves to play in there while I am working out and he slips and slides whenever he hits that exposed area. He’s a larger breed dog and I was terrified he’d blow a knee or a hip. So I purchased this runner and I am so glad I did. To my surprise there was no chemical smell when I opened it. The pile is perfect. Not too loopy and because of the rubber underside it doesn’t budge! And it vacuums easily. Couldn’t be happier.

My cat uses this as a runway ... he started using it as a scratching post at first until we put a horizontal scratch pad at the end of this rug with some velcro. The dog hair sticks to the fibers more than I'd like but with weekly vacuuming it comes off fairly easily. The rug stays in place vertically but horizontally tends to drift a little bit. For the money, you honestly couldn't come up with a better hallway solution if you have pets! This rug stands up to a lot of abuse.

I've ordered 2 so far. I have an older dog that was refusing to cross the slippery floor so I needed something. This fit the bill nicely and I haven't had to tape it down so far. Vacuum picks up the dirt and hair very well. Cut it to fit around the refrigerator wall and wasn't to bad. So far I'm very impressed. Edit: I now own 4 of these as we redid our living room floor and they are a life saver, very happy.

For years I have wanted to replace the old stained carpet pieces in our garage. Mind you, it's a GARAGE. Not anything fancy. It's where our car lives and it gets reasonable traffic from car to inside the house. I bought these because they weren't expensive, and, at any rate, if they don't last long for $20 something bucks - well it's a walkway in our garage. I was stunned. I bought two, they came rolled up tight. Oh know. It's going to take forever to lay flat. Nope, because of the light rubber backing, they rolled out completely flat. I've read other reviews complaining that they were like "dollar store" items. Well, if so, I'll be happy to go back and buy a few more.

Will suit my purposes, but quality control is an obvious issue. I ordered four, and one end was not cut straight at all, and another full rug was not straight. I'd say overpriced, because barely home quality.

This rug is perfect for our needs. The garage floor gets dangerously slippery when even the smallest amount of water gets on the floor. The rug sticks to the floor and doesn’t move which is key for us. It isn’t very wide or thick so I wouldn’t use this in a traditional hallway setting or rely on it for comfort. But for $19.99, this is a deal! I am very satisfied. I placed two toddler beach chair on it for size reference and to help it flatten out. It laid flat within 24 hours.

Looks great. Doesn’t shift too much. Tracks dirt and salt easily.
