Maxxis Ardent | Dual Compound - EXO | Trail Mountain Bike Tire

Sturdy sidewall, happy with purchase

Badass tires, the cornering ability is amazing on this tire, have yet to find the slip point. I live in a very wet place most of the year and these tires do well in them, but do not do well in thick mud like most tires. I ride this tire pumped up to 55 PSI on roads and the roll resistance actually is not bad on the center tread.

These came with my giant stance 2 when I bought it. After 2 seasons they were worn out, they don’t last very long on harder terrain, but they are pretty cheap comparatively. And the traction is just awesome on pretty much any surface.

The tires look great and are great for the money. However I bought the 27.5 tire and they barely fit. I don’t know if it was me but I’ve never had such an issue putting on tires and getting them to fit. But regardless very grippy and good quality tires.

This is a great tire for all types of mountain biking adventures. They allow for good control and confience while cornering, but at the same time are pretty fast rolling. I do a lot of Florida single track, therefore, not a lot of downhill. Florida is full of ups and downs, wooden features, and long cross country style trails. These tires have weathered it all. They do great on climbs as well as tricky downhill features. These are a huge upgrade from the stock tires my entry level hardtail came with.

Very functional, low rolling resistance. Do not have a lot of noise while riding. Good looking. I used 27.5 size.

The Ardent is very similar to the Ardent Race. Just slightly more aggressive. It's going to roll and grip good in dryer conditions.

Really like this tire. It has held up well in the Arizona desert. The exo protection is great for the sharp rocks on some of the trails I ride.

Pratico la mountain bike in modo amatoriale in lughe escursioni in montagna con discese su sentieri di media difficoltà. Da anni uso l'Ardent come gomma posteriore perchè è il guisto compromesso tra scorrevolezza e tenuta. All'anteriore di solito uso un HIgh Roller II in mescola 3C perchè ha una migliore tenuta in discesa. Inoltre con la versione TR/EXO di queste gomme ho un ottimo montaggio tubeless e non ho mai avuto problemi di forature. Impeccabile come sempre il servizio di vendita

SpecializedのCamber Carbonのフロントのリプレイス用に購入。しっかりしたノブが適度に配置されていて比較的軽量なスペックが気に入りました。実際トレイルで使ってみても、十分なグリップと軽い転がり抵抗が感じられて好印象です。購入後1年が経過しましたが、耐久性もそこそこありそうです。

La he puesto de rueda delantera en una ebike, con una Maxxis Crossmark atrás. Hay opiniones de su uso tanto de uso como rueda delantera y como trasera. El dibujo es bastante direccional (forma de flechas) en el centro, con taqueado también en los laterales, típica de las ruedas que funcionan bien como rueda delantera, y de momento, sin probarla en terreno mojado, funciona bien, y en terreno arenoso le noto que despide bastante arena. La he podido montar con las manos sin más herramientas y sin esfuerzo. El aro flexible hace que sea muy cómoda para montar y desmontar. Es la variante EXO lo cual significa que tiene refuerzo en los flancos, precisamente para evitar los pichazos por cortes en el lateral por terrenos pedregosos o raices rotas, y la elegí así porque fue el problema que tuve en la cubierta anterior. La protección EXO le añade algo de peso, pero merece la pena el extra de seguridad que aporta (especialmente porque el peso en una ebike no es una gran prioridad).
