Does this close in any way? I can't tell if it folds and zips closed (like a pouch) or if it just remains open faced. Thanks in advance!!

No it doesn't, just lays flat. It has some hard plastic or card board in it so you wouldn't even be able to fold it if you wanted.

what are the dimensions?

Scroll down to where it says "Product Dimensions:"

One sided, but I manage to hold a lot of PC and iPad accessories on it. Keeps my brief case free of loose wire etc.

Hi folks, I just purchased this item and it is described as having a convenient zippered compartment for additional storage. Where is it.? Thanks

There is no zipper compartment on this item. However, I have a smaller one: http://www.amazon.com/Cocoon-CPG5BH-GRID-IT-Organizer/dp/B003OYNVDW/ref=sr_1_fkmr2_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1421207664&sr=8-1-fkmr2&keywords=cocoon+grid-it+blush+pink and the zipper compartment is on the back!
