20 (6 oz.) Filet Mignon Steaks

This is my 3rd order; we have eaten 4 so far of the 20 just purchased. They are great!!! Bring to room temperature, sprinkle the filets with garlic & onion powder, black pepper. I cook 2 at a time in a 5 minute preheated heavy duty iron griddle - 3 minutes EACH side in 2 tbsp. butter over medium heat using tongs to move them around to brown on all sides. Slide the filet sides around sides of the griddle for 2 minutes more. Let griddle cool with a lid on for 5 minutes Then I put 2 more tbsp. butter in griddle, sprinkle a chopped whole head of garlic on & under filets. In preheated 360 degree oven, leave fillets in for 3 minutes, then turn them over for another 3 minutes. Remove griddle from oven, put a lid on top & let them sit for 6 minutes. Then serve these delicious babies on dinner plates for a juicy pink middle all through. YUM! IF want red inside them change all timings to 2 minutes. IF want filets KILLED [horrible thought...] then butterfly filets & sear in griddle till you like them. ENJOY, we certainly do & I TIP MYSELF - HA HA HA

Ok I have to recommend a meat company I found on Amazon and also saw this company showcased on one of those morning tv shows where they show you all the perfect foodies for tailgating. I’m preparing for my ankle surgery, finally on October 9 and I’m stocking up on goodies and foodies so I can stay off it for a bit so I went online shopping which you and I both know can be dangerous lol but I found this company called FEED THE PARTY. I ordered a box of 10, 6oz filets and I was apprehensive of course but the price was great, 99.00 for ten six oz steaks and I figured what the heck, let’s try it. OMG they were the softest filets I’ve ever had in my life!! Tasted so much better than the grocery store too! All individually packed and perfectly trimmed. An excellent value if you ask me and I’m picky as heck!!!! This company is fabulous for tailgating and they offer way more than just meats. I will use again and again! I also believe some of the profits go to charity as well. My only complaint is one of the steaks packaging was torn and I had to toss one steak in the trash. Booo! Otherwise very very very happy. 👍👍👍👍👍

So only tried 1 so far but the tenderloin is pretty good quality, did have beef flavor. For the price point it meets expectations. The order was packaged good and yes it will leak blood when you thaw it. I would say that they are thin though. Optimal to put on steak salads for sure. Wouldn't use these for a beef wellington

Very good steaks. Always tender and flavorful. 'Supplied in little individual plastic capsules that make handling and prep easy.

Hello. These steaks arrived packaged very well. I live in SW FL and they sat outside for hours and they were frozen solid in the dry ice. Good packaging and well taken care of. The problem I have is twofold: 1- the steaks have too much silver skin and fat for my liking. If I'm paying for filet mignon I want steak, not things I have to trim up before cooking. And if you're wondering, these are very thick, round disks of steak and I have butterflied several of them, and I can see the fat throughout, and also on the periphery 2- maybe even more troubling is the fact that you have to thaw them (this is fine) but if you do it properly you take them from the freezer to the refrigerator and let them sit for a day. When I go to retrieve them, there's a bloody mess in my fridge. Why are all the plastic shrink-wraps leaking? Doesn't make me feel good about the processing of these steaks I could have provided a photo, but who wants to see a bloody mess on the refrigerator shelf? I can hear a courtroom lawyer saying "Objection! Inflammatory!" :-) Also - I've still eaten the steaks and have not experienced any negative effects at all. Thanks.

We ordered the exact product earlier in 2020 and we were delighted! They were full of flavor and fork tender. However the second order fell short! They were tough and not flavorful at all! Pet packaging, the first box was perfect. In our last order, the vacuum seal was broken on one of the steaks. We would not ever gift this item to our friends because they aren’t truthworthy. These filets from our last order tasted like a cheaper cut of beef. We will not be grilling these steaks again. But they will be good used as fajitas or in Asian cooking.

While not the same quality as Kansas City Steaks, they were not the same price either. The steaks arrived well packaged, frozen, and individually wrapped and sealed. After defrosting, and seasoning (I used K.C. steak seasoning) several of the Filet Mignons, they were placed on the grille and cooked "medium" for our guests. They turned out to be very tender, and delicious! For the price I paid for 10 Filet Mignons (especially at today's prices) I would definitely purchase them again.
