The value was on par for market standards and the quality of the card was good. The card was authentic and fun to hold again. The card was in great condition.

Brings back childhood memories.
Brings back childhood memories. When I was a kid the first ever pack of cards I bought I got a Holo Blastoise, I ended up giving away all my cards so when I started re-collecting again 18 years later I just HAD to buy this card. The new Pokemon cards just do not compare with the original wizards of the coast base set. I love the card, purchased mine from The Troll Cave, they are one of the few sellers on Amazon that delivered on the condition. Unfortunately been disappointed with almost every other seller. Will buy from them again.

Blastoise!!!!!! I had bought this as part of birthday present I was putting together for a good friend. I wanted just the "old-school" Pokemon. Anyways I bought a few other cards from the Base Set 1, and even though there were just a few minor scratches in the foil, I'm still giving this card and the seller 5 stars because it arrived fast, safely packaged, and in no less condition than was detailed. I would buy from this seller again.

I have had a dream since I was a kid to collect all of the original cards and with this purchase I was one step closer! It came in great shape and it is a wonderful add to me collection!

Bought from Jme Toys & Games, Card came packaged very well, very few scratches on holographic IF ANY. Small imperfection on back of card but over i am past satisfied with my order.. definitely would buy again

Awesome authentic piece of nostalgia!
This was a pretty awesome purchase. It is a great card, definitely an authentic holographic original base set Blastiose card in amazing condition & laminated . However, I was disappointed that it wasn't a 1st edition ( the number 2 in the corner means its a 2nd set. Cards without the shadow around the art box are 1st edition). Still though, its a great piece of childhood nostalgia!

Favorite Pokemon
Blastoise was my favorite pokemon growing up. This card brings back childhood memories. I have 2 different card versions of Blastoise but, this is my favorite.

Classic through-back! Great nostalgia for me :) It's value for playing the TCG is not great so don't buy it for that.
