Absolutely the best cream cookie I’ve had i am 72 years old

If you have not tried DARE cookies and you like lemon or chocolate or maple you will love their cookies. It's a Canadian brand that's been around for many, many years. I could only find them at the Fresh Market until I found them on Amazon. Now I can order them whenever I like. This is a soft cookie with a really strong flavored cream in the center.

Literally my favorite cookies and to me better than lemon Oreos. Just feels better quality, and it's free of the things I'm allergic to, and this is my main reason for trying this brand. I first had them in Canada and was excited to find out I could still get them in the USA. My first order of these was great, but sadly, in my latest order, they were not fresh. They were not out of date either, but just no longer firm.

I had tried a cookie with lemon filling, and it was delicious. I went on Amazon to find something similar to try. I didn't want the Lemon Oreos, so I bought these. I ate the first package and brought two more boxes. I'm glad I found them.

Wanted to put these out for my US friends on Canada Day along with various Peak Freen cookies, but the flavour is so flat in comparison to those that I purchased two months ago at Foodland in Canada. If I read the packaging correctly, this version is made in Spartanburg, SC. I paid an additional $4 above what I would have paid in my local supermarket thinking that I was going to get the authentic, more flavourful, imported originals. What a rip off. I find myself wondering if the Dare family are aware that this being done while their name remains on the packages. Incidentally, the Peak Freens still come from Canada.

Excellent Taste

Not as lemony as I remember but a nice citrus snack when you want a cookie with flavour other than chocolate or sugar.

Too sweet😒

Love these cookies. The lemon is just delicious tasting. Of course they're sweet, they're cookies 😂 not as sweet as some in my opinion. Fake lemon can come off too chemically smelling and tasting..again my opinion. 2 of these satisfy my sweet tooth wonderfully 😊 I also break some cookies in half and freeze them - bite size piece that reminds me of lemon sorbet. Coconut 🥥 ones are good too but for me, it's lemon 🍋 for the win.
