Futjitsu Scanner
Although the software takes some getting used to, this scanner goes like a bat out of hell. It spits out pages so fast that sometimes one must be prepared to catch them! I you want a scanner which can quickly manage your documents, this one is for you

Reliable Fujitsu quality
Been using Fujitsu scanners for > 10 years in heavy production environments, anywhere from 500 to 10k+ pages a month. Always very reliable. Great to have both auto feeder and flat bed.

After 3 months now shredding paper
Updated Review: Worked ok for 3 months then started shredding paper (see attached photo). This is my third Fujitsu and I haven't had this problem before. The return window closed 3 weeks ago or I would send this back. I guess I can use it as a paper shredder now? This 7280 is my third Fujitsu scanner. It works well. I upgraded from a 7260 and it's a little faster but that appears to be it. I've always had trouble with the software provided by this manufacturer. I started using a program called VueScan by Hamrick and it really does the job. It apparently provides the necessary driver and well as the scanning software. Several years ago Fujitsu made a change and my 7260 quit working. I spent several days trying to troubleshoot it and then downloaded VueScan. I was up and running in 5 minutes. So, bottom line: Great hardware but software provided could use a lot of improvement.

Rocket Sled
This thing is scary fast compared to previous scanners I have owned. Works with a Mac if you use Vuescan software. The images show up as fast as the scanner spits them put. Great clarity
