I've used the best brand (like McGuire's & Mothers) wheel cleaners in the past but hands down this Gtechniq W6 beats every other product I've used by a long shot. I didn't have high expectations when I started cleaning the stock aluminum wheels on my 2008 Ridgeline. Considering the fact I haven't cleaned them in 15 years and both of the front calipers were sticking for a long time. Lets just say the black brake dust grim was a few mm thick covering the front wheels. A few sprays and 5 minutes of waiting and the wheel gunk wiped away like chocolate pudding off a spoon. Nothing has ever been able to clean what I just cleaned so quick and effortlessly before. The smell is like a truckdrivers butt hairs burning but that is how you know it is a good product I am guessing.I'd give this 10 stars if I could, just because I thought I had already bought the best of the best products which all I was paying for was their big names.I have not tried any other products by Gtechniq, but when the time comes I am most definitely will.

I normally use ads, but gave this a try. Would absolutely order and use it again. Before and after included. Used mainly on wheels but also did the side behind the front wheels

Works pretty good. Used on an old set of wheels that had brake crud and sat outside for a couple of years. Made them look almost new! I recommend giving it a try.

This product is legit. Best wheel cleaner around. Removed caked on brake dust from the rims of my 2001 Dodge Dakota. Sprayed it on and washed it off 3 mins later with no scrubbing. Excellent product. Will buy more for my other cars.

Love Gtechniq products, this iron remover works best if you use a bare hand to spread it around every inch then let it sit. Then I washed it off with my microfiber mitt, sprayed with IPA and wiped clean ready for the DA Random orbital polisher.

had to use it 3 times and scrub the 3rd time with hard cleaner to get the wheels cleaned up - did not work like the adbut the wheels are finally clean after a lot of work

Unfortunately I don’t have the before picture. I had lots of brake rust embedded on the mag, and thought it would be impossible to get out.The product worked miraculously, I did in two tries since the layer of rust was pretty thick.The product smells pretty nasty, definitively some intense chemicals, so make sure to wear gloves and even glasses to protect your eyes in case the scrubbing splashes some detergent in your eyes.It involved lots of scrubbing but worked in the end so definitively worth the effort.Impressed.

It worked well but my car was particularly heavily contaminated. I applied twice to bonnet and rinsed between . It still had a lot of deposits. I then agitated with soft brush I used two bottles and began to see good results.Work on a manageable area at a time and the brush or mitt is best practice.I used two bottles as car was uncovered in a shed with a lot of grinding dust in the air.

Dopo aver letto centinaia di recensioni positive in tutti i forum dedicati all'automotive ho deciso di provarlo anche io e le aspettative sono state soddisfatte al 100%.Basta spruzzare il prodotto sul cerchio e aspettare alcuni minuti affinché faccia effetto. Dopo poco il prodotto inizia ad agire cambiando colore (diventa tra il fucsia e il viola) sciogliendo letteralmente qualsiasi tipo di sporco. A questo punto basta una passata con la lancia ad alta pressione e il cerchio è come nuovo.

Used this on some very badly stained Aluminum rims that were severely neglected. The first Application, lightly sprayed a thin coat on the rim, let sit for 5-8 minutes, and most of the rust/black crust came off with just a wipe with a cloth. After a second application, the more stubborn stains came off with a gentle scrub with a stiff nylon brush. Use this product for you most difficult rims, you won't regret it. Tried everything else out there, this does it the quickest, and safest for your rims!
