Five Star Zipper Binder, 2 Inch 3-Ring Binder with Round Rings, 5-Tab Expanding File, 380 Sheet Capacity, Black (72536)

I got this binder for my daughter when she started 6th grade she is now in 9th and the binder lasted all three years. The binder did get a hole in it on the top and some stains on the back of the back of it but that’s to be expected as she used it everyday (except for summer). Now my son is going into 6th and also wanted a binder so I purchased another for him In a different color. Both binders have worked great for everyday use. The only thing that I can find troubling is that I can’t find a way to remove the stains as even water would stain it. But overall it’s one of the best products you can get if you want it to last.

My middle schooler was excited for this, and it did not disappoint. It is reminiscent of the super cool Trapper Keeper from my middle school days, but apparently much cooler because there is no velcro involved, rather a sleek zipper. The main compartment 3-ring binder holds three of the Five Star one subject 100 page notebooks. I was hoping it would hold all five that are required, but only three will fit in the rings. The front section contains the expanding file folders and is accessible from the main compartment and also from front zipper, so if you need to access this part you don't have to open the main compartment. This section will hold plenty of papers in the expanding files. Regular folders also fit in the file compartments, plus a couple more notebooks. The inside surface of the front, back, and spine is lined with a hard plastic to give the whole thing a sturdy structure and protect from the wear and tear of rubbing on the notebooks and whatever else is stored inside. This will be practical to carry around by hand with the carry handle on the back or in a backpack.

This is such an incredible product! Our middle school bans backpacks in the classroom, so this was suggested to us from a family with older kids. Like most 6th grade boys, our son of course was very careful with this all year long, cramming in his spirals, planner, papers, calculator, and utensils for his four academic classes. The zipper finally busted in May. I’m impressed it lasted that long! Threw on some duct tape and he made it to the end of the year. The three ring binder part worked fine despite his efforts to cram everything in it. (He found it easy to stuff papers in the dividers and his unreasonable parents made him hole punch and file those loose papers at least once a month.)Son #2 is headed into 6th grade next month, and I’m back to buy each kid a new binder. Worth way more than $20.

Got this back in highschool. It lasted about two years.

This binder is in great condition, brand new, the pockets have room for anyone to put different papers or whatever you use the binder for in individual places, the strap makes it easy to carry unlike other binders that you carry on your shoulder, the color is true to the description, the quality is very durable as well and is guaranteed to last your child all year in school!!

Bought this as "Used, Mint" condition and it actually was! All info was still attached to the folder and it was in new condition. Love that you can reach the file-pocket section from the 3-ring binder section with just a velcro strap keeping them separated. It provides easy access while keeping everything secure. Side handle makes it easy to carry with you and if your hands are on the small side you can push it up to your wrist to keep that hand free. The only thing I can think of to make this better is if the 3-rings were "D" shaped so all your papers stay lined up and lift straight up. No biggie though, this is still an excellent choice.

My 11-year old son loves it because he can fit his Chromebook in it, so he doesn’t have to carry more than one thing. Fits many folders and has a pouch that he uses for his Chromebook charger.

A binder I initially bought my daughter for the beginning of school kept kept opening the clasps and all the papers and notebooks would fall out. So I got her this zipper binder in November to take care of both problems. By March the threading was coming out around the edge of the binder. And by May it was completely falling apart. I see now that it is listed for $20 but I am pretty sure I bought it for around $14. It had nice storage space and held everything she needed for school. Just the edge around the outside of the binder came off, the threading came undone and it came off.

A great binder for middle school!

I purchased this binder (and sheet protectors that hold up to 25 pages each) to see if I could transfer my filing cabinet into it. Amazingly, a 2 drawer cabinet very easily is now in this binder with room to spare if/when needed. I have 23 tabs/categories, some thicker than others, but they are all organized, very compact and anything can be located with a flip of a page. I also really like the accordion folder for either "this month" or must be taken care of soon before filing away, etc. The extra areas are great for pens, glue sticks, white-out, tape, a small stapler, binder clips, paper clips and post-its. I also love the handle, making it really easy to grab it to work elsewhere at times and when done, it fits tucked away in a desk drawer. As for durability, I am in and out of the binder at least once a day and have been using it for 2 years now, with no signs of wear or tear, it still looks brand new. Overall I am really impressed and definitely recommend it. 👌

Bello ma purtroppo eccessivamente ingombrante...

Excelente producto, bastante recomendable
