engineering drawings
Good instructions to follow and this beginner is happy with what I've learnt, but there are mistakes (these things happen, just irritating), and the order is mixed up, where a drawing exercise is clear two chapters further on. Some basics on similar software from years ago was helpful. Some u tube assistance was good for clearing up any confusion. Was overall very good and value for money.

not enough architectural content to be useful
I was hoping to get a reference on how to set up a residential architectural model, along with guidance on layers, line weights and plotting. The architectural section is so scant as to be almost useless. Most of this is focused on engineering applications.

Clear instructions usually but there are frustrating errors
The instructions are clear to follow when the information is correct. Unfortunately, there are errors which make it frustrating for a beginner. I have reached p.65 and come across mistakes on p.56 (drawing polylines); p.62 (example 3); p.63 and p.64 regarding the exercises.

bad instructions
I have found this book impossible to follow. I have already done a beginners course in AUTOCAD but have found this book less than useless to refer too. I follow the instructions in lessons verbatim but it won't translate for me.
